Crosman R1 Fallen Patriots Blowback CO2 Full Auto BB Rifle Table Top Review

Type: BB Rifle.
Manufacturer: Crosman.
Model: R1 Fallen Patriots AR.
Materials: Metal & plastic.
Weight: 6 pounds (2.7 kilograms).
Length: 26.25 / 29.25 inches (Stock closed / extended).
Propulsion: 12 gram CO2 dual cartridges.
Action: Semi & Full Auto Blowback - single action only.
Ammunition Type: 4.5mm steel BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 25 rounds.
FPS: 430fps.
Rate of Fire: 1400 rounds per minute in full auto.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Crosman R1 Fallen Patriots Blowback CO2 Full Auto BB Rifle is single action only since the charging handle must be pulled back first before you can shoot it. The trigger is short and fairly light as you would expect from an AR type trigger action. The real fun happens with the Crosman R1 Fallen Patriots Blowback CO2 Full Auto BB Rifle when you switch it over to full auto mode and with just one pull and hold of the trigger you empty the 25 round magazine in mere seconds.

Accuracy: I have not Filed Test Reviewed the Fallen Patriot version of the R1 just yet but you checkout my Filed Test Shooting Video for the Crosman R1 Regular Version where I test out it using my Chronograph and I get an average of 385 fps and a nice 30 foot grouping of right around 1 inch in semi out and a decently tight full auto group of about 3-4 inches.

Build Quality: The Crosman R1 Fallen Patriots Blowback CO2 Full Auto BB Rifle as with all the Crosman AR type BB Machine Guns is well made all around. Weighing in at 6 pounds without any add on accessories it feels solid and well built. There is a lot of metal going on inside and out of this rifle but keep in mind the top and bottom receiver are plastic with metal parts where they need to be like in the internals, pretty much all the working parts are metal, the magazine is full metal, the buffer tub is metal, charging handle, selector switch, magazine release, bolt release, trigger and of course the barrel is metal.

Realism: The Crosman R1 Fallen Patriots Blowback CO2 Full Auto BB Rifle is about as real as you are going to find in a CO2 Blowback AR/M4 styled Airgun. You can even take it apart and split the top and bottom receivers like the real steal version. The blowback action gives you some recoil but more importantly offers a true single action trigger and of course the full auto ability we all want and love. Almost all the working parts work like they would on a real AR/M4 other than the forward assist which is moulded into the receiver.

Pros:

  • Color scheme is awesome looking.

  • Super realistic working M4/AR 4.5mm BB Rifle just like the otters Crosman Rifles in this lineup.

  • Full blowback operation with both semi and full auto shooting, can feel the blowback operation rocking the gun.

  • Great weight and feel to it.

  • Almost everything works exactly like the real steel version. (Charging handle, dust cover, bolt release, magazine release, selector switch…)

  • Duel CO2 full metal drop out magazine that holds the 25 4.5mm steel BB’s as well.

  • Adjustable and customizable AR butt stock.

  • Included iron pop-up sights you can add a red dot sight on rail if you want to but looks classic without it..

  • Lots of rails for mounting additional cool hardware.

  • Removable flash hider that uses standard threading.

Cons:

  • Receiver is plastic but well made and does not compromise feel or weight since there is lots of metal throughout this gun.

  • No red dot included with this version.

Comments:

The Crosman R1 Fallen Patriots Blowback CO2 Full Auto BB Rifle is really pretty much the same as the Standard Version Crosman R1 with really only cosmetic color scheme changes. That said these cosmetic changes make it look awesome and in my books this is the nicest looking Crosman AR Series Full Auto BB Gun so far. I even like the fact that it comes with Iron Sights over a Red Dot. Typically I prefer a Red Dot as I find them easier to shoot with but on this version the iron sights really suit it and give it a more classic AR look to it. If you want you can easily add a Red Dot sight so do what every makes you happy.

Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine Review Update

Apparently I got it all wrong when I did my original Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine Review and several of my viewers where not hesitant to let me know :)

I thought when I read the one mag instruction guide that I had a good idea on how to use it but there was one area I misunderstood. I thought I needed to pull the tab in and out several times to reload the magazine but in fact I only needed to pull it out once, then shale the magazine back and forth horizontally a few times and then I was good to go.

I also read some other comments that mentioned I didn’t have to take the magazine out every time I reloaded so in this video I test that out to make sure and then one last comment that rather than pulling the charging handle back each time I reloaded I could simply press the bolt release on the right side of the Airgun, and yes this is the case with the Crosman Full Auto rile series.

So here I go a second time in making sure I do it right this time!

Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine Review for DPMS - MPW - R1 - A4-P

I have been wanting to test out the Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine for a while now and finally got around to it. The weather was cooperating with me so I went outside for this one and setup a bunch of cameras to make the many many magazine reloads a bit more interesting for my viewers.

The Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine has a hopper that is said to hold around 300 4.5mm Steel BB’s which I can attest it does in fact hold at least 300 BB’s. The Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine like their regular Crosman Full Auto Magazines holds two 12 gram CO2 Cartridges, so the question is, will I be able to get through most of the 300 BB’s without reloading the CO2?

Watch my struggle a bit to figure out the exactly how to properly use the Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine and then quickly eat through 300 or so BB’s blasting pop cans down range!

Battle of the Full Auto CO2 BB Rifles

I have review all three of these super fun Full Auto CO2 BB Rifles so make sure to watch those YouTube Field Test Video Shooting Reviews to see how they performed on their own in the Sea Can Indoor Airgun Shooting Range.

In this Field Test Shooting Video I have a little bit of fun to see which of the three Full Auto CO2 BB Rifles is the King in terms of FPS Velocity and all out full auto mag dump acuracy.

All there of these BB Rifles are awesome and I highly recommend picking one up or maybe even all of them! You can get them in our Canada and US Replica Airgun Stores…

Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun Field Test Review

Here we are with yet another Crosman AR styled Full Auto Blowback CO2 BB Rifle and they just keep getting better, I say that lightly as even the first version the Crosman DPMS SBR still holds up to the 3 part lineup. It kind of has to since all three of them can be mixed and matched in terms of the uppers and lowers, magazines and I am sure most intern parts. Check out the Crosman DPMS SBR and the Crosman MPW for reference as I have made full table top and field test shooting videos for them already.

The purpose as always for my Field Test Shooting Videos is to find out how the airgun being reviewed performs in terms of velocity and accuracy, and if the ratings on paper end up being the same or close to the tested results. Crosman claims the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is capable of shooting 5.1 grain 4.5mm Steel BB’s at up to 430 fps. When I tested the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun using my Chronograph averaging out 5 shots using a brand new set of CO2 cartridges I averaged 395 fps. Note the temperature in my Indoor Airgun Sea Can Shooting Range was about average at about 24 degrees Celsius or right around 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Comparatively I was able to get 405 fps from the Crosman DPMS SBR and around 385 fps with the Crosman MPW. Temperature may have beene slightly different on those testing days so that needs to be factored in.

Moving on to the accuracy portion of this Field Test Shooting Review for the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun, I placed 10 semi auto shots on my paper target setup 30 feet downrange. I was using a rested and seated shooting position to help minimize human factor. I was able to get pretty much a 1 inch grouping with my 10 semi auto shots which was nit surprising as I have been able to get tight shot placement like this from the Crosman AR series before.

I then flipped the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun semi auto selector switch to full auto and dumped the remaining 10 rounds into my paper target in full auto mode flowed by another full 25 round magazine again in full auto and the grouping only stretched out to about 2.5 -3 inches even with all the full auto vibrations and rocking around of the gun. Shot placement was a little bit high and to the left but this can easily be corrected using the red dot sight adjustments.

In summary the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun performed a lot like the Crosman DPMS SBR and the Crosman MPW which makes since since all of them are virtually mechanically the same. In the end I think it really comes down to which of the Crosman AR type full auto BB rifles you like the look of since they areal very capable shooters. If you can’t decide then maybe get one of each :)

Two New Blank Guns Added To The Collection - Zoraki M917 & Umarex SW1911

Photo of ZORAKI 917 Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

All references, photos and video claiming that any item in this Review/Video looks like a Glock or is a Replica of a Glock in any way shape or form have been removed from this post as requested by Glock"Renzulli Law Firm"

When ever I can get my hands on some blank guns at a realistic price or perhaps a trade that works for both parties, I generally try to make it happen. And if they are guns that I don't have in my collection, well they go directly into my collection so please no offers from fellow Canadians as I tend to hold onto my more rare or hard to acquire Canadian replica guns pretty firmly! .

Both of these 9mm P.A.K. Blank shooting guns are not brand new but they are in very good condition and it's hard to even say it they have been shot or not? My new Zoraki Mod. 917 as you can see, is styled very closely after the NAME REMOVED and so much so that all new version sold in North America must have "This is not a Glock" engraved on the right side frame of the receiver in order to be sold. Mine however was purchased before this requirement :) UPDATE: NO LONGER BEING SOLD IN NORTH AMERICA.

Photo of ZORAKI 917 Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

My Umarex SW1911 S is licensed by Smith & Wesson which makes it pretty hard to get in Canada becasue for a very long time we have not been allowed to import any replica guns and since it is licensed it makes it a true replica and would normally be stopped at the boarder. You may own replicas in Canada without a said license but you need to make sure they are stored and handled as defined by the requirements outlined in the Canada Firearms Act.

The S&W 1911 S is for sale in my US Replica Airguns Store for my US customers.

I will be reviewing the Umarex SW1911 but not the Zoraki M917 as I have already reviewed a Chrome Slide version of it.

Photo of Zoarki 917 Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull has a medium pull and also has the built in trigger safety found on the real NAME REMOVED. There is also a grip safety that is used in combination with the trigger safety giving the Zoraki M917 a double safety system.

Accuracy: NA.

Build Quality: The overall build quality of this gun is excellent. The design and materials all seem to be of good quality as is true with all of the Zoraki blank guns. Out of all the blank guns I have reviewed the Zoraki gun materials and workmanship are closest to what you would find on real steel guns.

Photo of Zoarki 917 Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Realism: This gun is not "supposed" to be a replica of any gun in production but it does look amazingly similar to a NAME REMOVED semi auto pistol. The Zoraki M917 is different in that it has the double safety system with the extra grip safety on the back of the grips. The take down switch is also more like what you would find on a Walther series pistols but it makes for very easy field stripping!

Supplied on loan for review.

Photo of Zoarki 917 Removed by Request from Glock "Renzulli Law Firm"

Pros:

  • Excellent construction, built pretty much just like a real NAME REMOVED.

  • Front firing and flawless performance.

  • Interesting double safety system.

  • Super easy to field strip.

  • High capacity magazine.

  • Come with a very nice hard shell case and accessory package.

Cons:

  • Not available in Canada at this time:(

  • NAME REMOVED users may not like the double safety system.

Comments:

The Zoraki MOD 917 is another very fine blank gun from Zoraki (ATAK Arms) which is exactly what I expected it to be! It is a real shame we can not import blank guns in Canada at this time and also the recent prohibition of several of the Zoraki blank gun models like the R1, M914 and M925. Make sure to watch my YouTube video on the Zoraki M917 for more information on what is happening in Canada with blank related importation. If you're are lucky enough to live in an area like the US or other parts of the world where your government does not treat you like a small child, then you can have one of these beautiful blank shooters!

All references, photos and video claiming that any item in this Review/Video looks like a Glock or is a Replica of a Glock in any way shape or form have been removed from this post as requested by Glock"Renzulli Law Firm"

You may wonder how I got my hands on a Zoraki M917 front firing blank gun, this one does not belong to me but was sent for review by one of my viewers which was very generous! Not only is it near impossible to get any new blank guns in Canada these days, but many of the Zoraki blank guns are now considered "prohibited", like the Zoraki R1, 914 and 925, thankfully there rae still a couple Zoraki blank guns that are not on the hit list like this M917 Glock inspired blank shooter and also the Zoraki M906.

I plan to talk more about some of this in my full review so make sure to watch that review if you want to know more about what is going on with blank guns in Canada these days.

Enough politics for now, here are some more photos for you to enjoy till I do my full review which I plan to do very soon since this blank firing Zoraki M917 is on loan to me...

Zoraki M906 Back in the Store - Very Limited Supplies!

This is going to be a rather short lived post because I think this will be the last of these very popular Zoraki M906 blank guns. I was only able get a small batch of them and based on all the request I have had since we ran out, I'm pretty sure they will be gone fairly quickly. So if you're one of the people who has been emailing me asking for one, this is probably your last chance to get one.

Webley Alecto HP-01 .22 cal. Air Pistol Shooting Test

The Webley Alecto (AKA: Zoraki HP-01) may not fit in exactly as a "Replica" Airgun, although it does resemble a bloated Dessert Eagle! But it is an Airgun worthy of spending some time reviewing an this is now my third Vimeo Video review for the Webley Alecto. My first Video Review was a Table Top Review where I covered most of the Webley's basic operation. My second Vimeo Video was a Chronograph Test to see what my Webley Alecto could do performance wise for FPS.

<!-- google_ad_client = "ca-pub-9036472715040282"; /* Replica Airguns Content */ google_ad_slot = "1487049688"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15; //-->

I really wanted to do a video of this gun just shooting because that's what it does best, put lead down range very accurately! So I setup three cameras to capture it all from just about every angle I could think of and I set up 30 feet away from my target and shot 5 rounds in a rested position using a Red Dot Scope. The results where not surprising - pretty close to a 1/2 inch grouping!

If you're looking for a compact, hard hitting, accurate target or small pest control Air gun then look no further, the Webley Alecto has the goods!

Zoraki M906 Silver Slide 9mm P.A.K. Blank Gun

I already had an all Black Zoraki M906, but I didn't have the Sliver slide version and that was just no good because the two-tone finish just looks great on this blank shooter. It's pretty much the same gun as my all black Zoraki M906 but with a Shiny Chrome Slide and Barrel. I also noticed that the hammer is just a tad bit different but both work just as well!

Here are some more photos for your viewing and drooling pleasure...

Zoraki 914 Full Auto Product Review by NicFitNation

I don't post a lot of other people's video here on the site but from time to time when I see a really good one, I'll feature it. This video is from a YouTuber named NicFitNation. What I like about this video most of all is the way VST sums up the reasons for getting a blank gun to begin with. I know most of you already understand the reasoning behind owning a blank gun, but for some reason I seem to answer this question a lot on my YouTube channel.

Make sure to watch the video right to the end as there is a nice demo of the Zoraki 914 shooting in full auto!

Webley Alecto - Zoraki HP-01 .177 & .22 Caliber PCP Air Pistol Review

Related Posts:

Type: Multi-pump Air Pistol.

Manufacturer: Webley - Zoraki ATAK Arms.

Model:Alecto -  HP-01

Materials: Polymer shell with metal internal parts.

Weight: 2.4 pounds.

Barrel: 7.2 inches, metal rifled.

Propulsion: MSP Multi-stroke pneumatic.

Action: Single shot.

Ammunition Type: .177 & .22 caliber pellets.

Ammunition Capacity: 1 pellet.

FPS: 495+.

Trigger Pull: You simply can not get a better trigger. You can adjust it left and right and forwards and backwards. You can also adjust the tension from .9 lbs to 4 lbs and the break point is smooth as butter.

Accuracy: Awesome, I got about a 1 inch group from a free standing position 20 feet away.

Build Quality: Build quality is excellent, it does have an external outer plastic shell but it is very solid and made of what seems to be high quality weapons grade polymer. All the internal mechanical parts are made out of metal.

Realism: This is not a replica air gun but it does resemble the Desert Eagle in shape and size.

Purchased From: the Replica Airguns Store.

Pros:

  • Very accurate for a pistol.

  • Only a few pumps generate a lot of power.

  • Fully adjustable trigger and grips.

  • Fully adjustable sites, including a rotating front site for quick adjust near and far shooting.

  • Great safety design with one finger operation.

<!-- google_ad_client = "ca-pub-9036472715040282"; /* Replica Airguns Content */ google_ad_slot = "1487049688"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 15; //-->

Cons:

  • If you're left handed you have to buy the extra left hand grip separately.

  • Comes with the pressure release valve adjusted a bit too lean. (seems to let pressure out even with only two pumps)

  • May be a bit to large for small handed shooters.

Comments:

I originally got this target air pistol mainly to test it out and do a review for the website, thinking I was going to send it back at the end. After playing around with it for a while, I have decided I simply can not part with it. The Webley Alecto is just to addictive to shoot and has such great power and accuracy that you kind of forget it's not an action shooter. you get lost in literally blasting away anything you point it at.

Webley Alecto .177 and .22 Caliber Multi-Stroke Pneumatic Target Pistol

Related Posts:

The Webley Alecto isn't exactly a "Replica Airgun" but it's really addictive to shoot and OK maybe it looks just a bit like the Desert Eagle? Unlike most BB guns, the Webley Alecto is all about accuracy and consistency. I found myself shooting at all kinds of targets just to see if I could hit them and this gun is simply amazing. It is essentially a PCP compressed air gun that has a three stage pump, you can pump it up to three times to get the maximum feet per second.

I found the one I have (Canadian Version with detuned pressure release valve) had little to no fps gain pumping it the third time because to be imported into Canada it must shoot under 500 fps. The valve can be adjusted internally but you risk higher then 500 fps shots which would make it a Restricted Controlled Firearm in Canada.

One of the most amazing attributes about this compressed air gun is the trigger, it's fully adjustable and smooth as butter. Another nice attention to detail is the included hard shell case and factory quality control test target.

The gun is made in Turkey for Webley by Zoraki and is the HP-01. Unlike the Zoraki version (.177 cal. only), with the Webley Alecto, you have the choice of either a .177 or .22 caliber. I went for the .22 caliber model and mine will for sure get a Red Dot Scope mounted on it one of these days :)
