This may not be a big deal to most of you but if you happen to own or are thinking about getting a Webley Alecto in either a .177 caliber or .22 caliber pellet version, and you are a left handed shooter... then having the appropriate grips is going to make life just a little easier for you!
If you haven't taken a look at the Webley Alecto, maybe you should because it is a pretty amazing Pellet Pistol for target or pest control.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to go down the whole Facebook road as keeping up with all the social networking with my YouTube Channel is already a lot of work! But I caved in to the pressure and setup a Replica Airguns Facebook page.
I plan to link most of my posts there in summary from so if you're a big Facebook user, make sure to become a fan of the Replica Airguns Facebook Page to keep up-to-date with everything going on...
Sorry, I only have the one photo I could find of the Umarex Smith & Wesson M&P 45. This CO2 pistol shoots both BB's and Pellets and looks like it uses some of the design elements from other rotary magazine Umarex guns like the CPSport and CP88. Again I am not sure if the slide is metal or plastic because of the lower weight factor?
Specifications:
Click on the picture below to open them in a larger window.
I'm not sure which of these we will get in North America but there are some nice new Umarex products coming out in the next few months.
Some of the 4.5mm BB Pistols featured:
I'll will post some pictures and more info on some of these guns shortly...
Here are a couple videos featuring some of these new products from Umarex:
Here is the last one for the day, I added the Umarex Walther CP88 Pellet Pistol to the Replica Airguns Store.
The Walther CP88 CO2 Air Pistol replica is ideally suited for “Action Shooting Target Games”. The outstanding workmanship and the simplified modular system help make this an outstanding choice for both experienced and novice shooters. A replica in looks and weight, the CP88 is an economical choice for owners of similar firearms. An air pistol with quality craftsmanship like this Walther is perfect for muscle retention and sharp shooting.
Comes in a foam-lined plastic gun case and includes two 8-shot rotary magazines.
A few more Store product updates... I just added the Umarex Beretta PX4 Storm to go along with the PX4 Storm Recon we have in our Replica Airguns Store.
The Beretta Px4 Storm Recon air pistol is not only a BB gun, but a pellet gun as well. It will shoot either projectile from its revolutionary dual-ended magazine. This 16-shot repeater will have you shooting as fast as you can pull the trigger. There's an 8-shot rotary clip on one end of the stick mag, and another one at the other end. Since it shoots BBs or pellets, you'll have more flexibility with ammo choice.
A 12-gram CO2 is easily loaded into the grip and gives you plenty of shots before you need a refill. There's even an accessory rail under the barrel. Like the handgun, it has real blowback action, it really kicks, giving you a feeling of power that most airguns only hope to achieve! Once you start shooting, you won't want to stop, so get lots of RWS pellets, BBs and Walther CO2.
More great product for you, I just add the Walther CPSport Pellet Pistol to the Replica Airguns Store.
LOOK FOR the Unique Lines and Distinctive Shape of the P99 replica as a TRADEMARK of Walther.
With Walther’s Fast-Action CO2 System, the CPSport is quickly ready to fire. The CO2 capsule is housed in a magazine that drops out of the grip with a realistic push of the magazine release lever that's located in the same place as it is on the Walther P99. Load its included rotary magazine with eight .177 caliber RWS lead pellets and enjoy shot after accurate shot. Modeled after Walther's P99 sidearm, the CPSport Air Pistol is an affordable pellet gun that will give you years of shooting enjoyment. Increase the fun with the CPSport by adding these optional accessories: Laser Sight, additional rotary magazines, additional Drop Out CO2 magazines.
I just added the excellently priced and well made Umarex HPP Blowback BB Pistol to the Replica Airguns Store.
The Umarex High Power Pistol (HPP) BB Repeater pistol has a 15-shot drop-out magazine for quick reloading. The 410 fps velocity is quite high for the class of pistol. The crisp blowback action simulates a real firearm. The heavyweight construction of the pistol and integrated accessory rail give it the look and feel of realism. A housed CO2 cartridge in the pistol grip provides the power for the this Sig Sauer looking heavy duty gun.

WEBLEY ALECTO .177 AND .22 CALIBER MULTI-STROKE PNEUMATIC TARGET PISTOL
WEBLEY ALECTO - ZORAKI HP-01 .177 & .22 CALIBER PCP AIR PISTOL REVIEW
I have been wanting to do a Chrony test for my Webley Alecto as I didn't have a chronograph at the time of my original review. Today was the day I got around to it and I am really happy with the results I got. Mine came with the pressure release valve adjusted fairly conservatively. I imagine this is a generic setting that is set the same for both the .177 caliber and .22 caliber versions based on the lighter .177 caliber having a faster muzzle velocity and hittiing the 495 fps with less pressure required.
In the case of a .22 caliber pellet and it having approximately double the weight, the pressure release valve may be adjusted a bit on the light side, but I was only guessing and I wanted to make sure I didn't have an air pistol shooting over 500fps as this would make it a restricted firearm here in Canada and although I have my restricted firearms license, I didn't want to have this particular pistol governed by the rules and regulations of a restricted firearm.
So lets get to my results. I was using crosman premium 14.3 grain pellets for this test, far from the heaviest .22 caliber pellets you can get. I also tested my Webley Alecto out with one, two , three and even four pumps. Keep in mind pumping the Webley Alecto four times is not recommended by the factory and could cause long term damage to your Alecto. I did it with mine because I will ultimately get asked what an extra pump will give you in terms of extra fps.
One Pump: 270.9 fps
Two Pumps: 390.5 fps
Three Pumps: 449.8 fps
Four Pumps: 487 fps & 496.3 fps
So as you can see, I did not go over 500 fps even with four pumps which is exactly where I wanted this pistol to be around. If you do decide to do the pressure release valve mod on your Webley Alecto, I would recommend you also test yours out on a chronograph just in case your results are different then mine, and keep in mind modifying the Webley Alecto could void your warrantee. The last thing you want to be carrying around is an illegal firearm!
I am happy to announce that we will be receiving brand new to North America, the Airgun 92! This Beretta 92 FS styled pellet shooter is made in Italy by Valtro and utilizes a brand new air pistol design that utilizes their Shoot2 System. The Shoot2 System uses two CO2 cartridges and a 14 round double rotary magazines design to get more consistent and higher fps pellet velocities.
We will have the Airgun 92 in stock by mid April so make sure to get your pre-orders in right away!
Specifications:
We get requests for accessories all the time and one of the more popular requests is for Red Dot Scopes! I will be expanding the Replica Airguns Store more frequently now and posting new arrivals as we add them to the Replica Airguns Store.
So to kick things off we have the BSA Multi-Purpose RD30 Red Dot Scope:
The BSA Multi-Purpose Sighting Systems are a wonderful light weight sight for close quarter and medium range targets. Light enough for small calibers plicking on the range, yet durable enough for larger calibers used by hunters and law enforcement departments. A great addition to your pistol or rifle!
Type: BB air pistol.
Manufacturer:Crosman.
Model:1088S.
Materials: Mostly plastic.
Weight: 1.1 pounds.
Barrel: 3.8 inches, metal rifled.
Propulsion: CO2 x 1.
Action: Semi auto, double and single action.
Ammunition Type: .177 cal. pellets - 4.5mm BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 8 round rotary magazine.
FPS: 430.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Crosman 1088 is pretty good in both single and double action modes, obviously a bit lighter in single action then when in double action. When I was using single action mode, I found the gun would accidentally de-cock its self if I was too tentative right at the break point, I did get used to the break point and was able to shoot in single action mode very effectively with just a bit of practice.
Accuracy: I shot the Crosman 1088 air gun at a target from 20 feet away in a free standing position, and it performed well getting a 1.25 inch grouping right close to the center of the target while using .177 pellets. The rear sight is adjustable for windage which is nice in an entry level pellet gun, the rifled barrel definitely helped this pistol to shoot while using pellets, when using BB's it may not be as accurate.
Build Quality: The 1088 is not going to win any wards for quality of build as it's pretty much an all plastic gun, but Crosman did use metal where it counts the most, in the rifled barrel, the hammer and the CO2 screw and tab (of course there are some metal internal parts).
Realism: The Crosman 1088 is not an actual replica gun, but it does closely resemble the Ruger P345 (.45 Auto). The 1088 does not have any of the Ruger's trademarks or licensing but it does share the basic shape and design of the Ruger P345.
Purchased From: The Replica Airguns Store.
Pros:
The price is right!
It has a rifled barrel.
Can shoot both pellets and BB's.
Has an adjustable rear sight for windage.
Has good accuracy and decent power.
CO2 screw and tab are hidden in the handle.
Is both a single and double action shooter.
Has a modern look with an under barrel accessory rail.
Made in the US.
Cons:
This gun is almost all plastic.
Trigger in single action mode can sometime de-cock the gun when slowly activating the trigger.
Comments:
There is no doubt that if this pellet shooter had more metal, it would appeal to a lot more people and would probably fetch a lot more money! That said, the plastic does not actually take away from the shooting experience and if you can get your mind around the plastic build quality, you will find this is a great little diverse pellet pistol with many excellent features like a rifled barrel, single and double action mode, ability to shoot pellets and BB's all with an adjustable rear sight.
I don't know if your a Conan O'Brien fan like I am, I have liked Conan since way back when he used to lick phone booths and the soles of shoes to get laughs. I guess things haven't really changed all that much and now he's back with Andy Richter again, just like the good old days!
Conan has a challenge going on over at his TEAM COCO Website and TEAM COCO YouTube Channel for anyone who can find a mistake or error with his Conan late night talk show program. If you find something that's not quite right, he wants you to post a video response to his Conan's Fan Corrections Challenge YouTube Video. And that's exactly what I did.
Here is a quote taken from my YouTube video description:
"The hideous error I found in Conan's February 21st showing of the Conan show takes place during an "Inception Oscar Reenactment skit" performed by (Conan O'Brian, Andy Richter and Pierre Bernard)
The Error is evident near the end of the performance when all three actors stand up to take a bow. Unbeknownst to Andy, his prop gun - a Beretta 92FS styled semi auto pistol is missing the magazine! What kind of villain starts his day off with an empty gun! I'm sorry this is simply unacceptable and needs to be addressed!
Conan, please fire away with your lame explanation for this inexcusable oversight on the part of your Prop-master, which reflects negatively on the entire show and all involved!
Even so, I still love the show and I'm really glad you are back on the air entertaining us all."

I wanted to bring a few more EKOL guns to the Replica Airguns Store. I have done reviews on guns like the Jackal Dual, the Volga and the Dicle but to date I have not had them available for purchase. I'm happy to say I will have them starting April 1st along with my latest blank shooter from EKOL, the EKOL Aras in both the Magnum and Compact versions.
Since I didn't have the EKOL Aras, I wanted to have one in my hands before offering it on the Replica Airguns Store. I have to say it is very nice. I ordered mine in the Compact Gloss Black version and it looks even nicer then I was expecting. I was actually expecting the non-wrap-around grips as most of the pictures online show the gun that way. Another nice touch was the chrome barrel and ejection port opening. Needless to say I am very happy with my EKOL Aras and will be doing a shooting and table top review as always for it.

Unfortunately at this time I am not able to provide the EKOL Aras, Volga & Dicle blank guns for sale on the Replica Airguns Store. Sometimes plans change and you just have to make the best of it! We still have lots other great EKOL Blank Guns in our Replica Airguns Store so make sure to check them all out! And there is always hope for the future...
This post is for any of you lucky North American Baikal Makarov owners out there, or for anyone thinking of getting a Baikal Makarov MP-654k.
We had some custom CO2 screws made up that fit the Baikal Makarov's BB-CO2 magazine perfectly and make the Makarov replica look virtually identical to the real steel. It's kind of a shame the Baikal Makarov didn't come this way from the factory but at least now you have the option of improving on an already great product.

Recently, I hit One Million Video Views on my YouTube Channel and just today I also hit One Thousand YouTube Subscribers! So to celebrate this twin achievement, I am having another contest but this time I'm not making anyone do a video response. It's only fair, not everyone has a video camera or the right software to put something together and I didn't want to leave anyone out this time!
And since this contest is to celebrate two achievements, I think it is also only fair to offer two prizes - one for first prize and one for second prize. Who ever gets first prize gets to pick which gun they want - The Umarex SA 177 blowback BB pistol or the EKOL Tuna 8mm blank gun.
Here are the contest rules:

ASG DAN WESSON 6 INCH SILVER & 8 INCH BLACK CO2 BB REVOLVER REVIEW
Today, my ASG CZ 75 P-07 DUTY and Dan Wesson 6 and 8 inch Revolvers arrived along with an Umarex Colt Special Combat. This is kind of a big deal because all of these guns virtually don't exist here in North America. I have been wanting these guns for some time but until now, I had no way to get them! I guess the best part of having a web-store is I have a say in what we are going to carry. And lucky for me I have a really resourceful product manager who was able to locate and import these fine guns not only for myself but also for anyone else here in North America wanting to place an order for one in our Replica Airguns Store.
Let's take a quick look - I won't get too detailed as I will be doing dedicated reviews for all of these guns shortly...
The ASG Dan Wesson's: 6 inch Silver and 8 inch Black
Right off the bat, both of these guns are just flawless. Their finish and quality control is top notch. They have a good solid weight to them and all the moving parts feel tight and responsive. They offer both double and single action and come with a speed loader and six brass shells where the 4.5mm BB's are located. You also have the option of using the included accessory rail for mounting a scope or Red Dot sight.

ASG CZ 75 P-07 DUTY
Again I was really impressed with the quality of this blowback 4.5mm BB shooter! Even though the CZ 75 P-07 DUTY has a polymer frame it has good weight to it, probably because of the metal slide and good usage of metal in other areas like its drop out 20 round metal magazine and metal even in the CO2 door. There is amazing detail and realism all over this gun, it even has the original 9x19 markings on the slide and ejection port, you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between this air gun version and the real steel without a very close inspection!
Umarex Colt Special Combat
OK, so the Colt Special Combat isn't a blowback BB pistol! Once you pick it up and take a close look at all the work that went into this gun, you will soon forget all about the blowback. The tradeoff here is more power and usable shots along with features like an all metal design, a working slide, a full size drop free metal magazine, adjustable sights and both a single and double action trigger. Having a classic 1911 that is as nice as this one in my airgun collection is a real treat!
