In this Field Test Shooting Review, I test the Umarex Smith & Wesson 629 Competitor CO2 Airsoft Revolver in the Replica Airguns Indoor Sea Can Shooting Range to find out what the real world velocity is in fps. I also shoot some .20 gram and .40 gram Airsoft BB’s at a paper target setup 30 feet down range to see what kind of accuracy I can achieve with a 6 round grouping. Starting with my Chronograph Velocity Test, I loaded up a brand new 12 gram CO2 Cartridge and loaded 6 .20 gram Airsoft BB’s into the cylinder. My average 6 shot velocity of 514 fps was even a bit higher than what Umarex claims which is 500 fps. The fastest Airsoft BB was clocked at 531 fps with the slowest BB hitting a respectable 490 fps. That’s moving pretty fast for sure, probably a bit quick for close quarters indoor Airsoft games? Temperature was right around room temperature.
I was going to only test out the .20 gram Airsoft BB’s for my accuracy part of the Field Test, but the high velocity was not working all that well with the lighter .20 gram Airsoft BB’s. I only got around an 8 inch grouping as the lighter .20 gram Airsoft BB’s really wanted to curl though the air. I felt the Umarex Smith & Wesson 629 Competitor CO2 Airsoft Revolver could do a lot better using a heaver Airsoft BB’s so I redid my Accuracy Test, but this time using .40 gram Airsoft BB’s, and this for sure gave me much better results. 3 of the 6 Airsoft rounds made a single hole just above the bulls-eye fairly well centered with 2 shots increasing the grouping slightly to around 2 inches and 1 shot that came out a bit which I will classify as a flyer but if you include it, the grouping was more or less around 5 inches, still a lot better than the .20 gram Airsoft BB’s.
All in all the Umarex Smith & Wesson 629 Competitor CO2 Airsoft Revolver is one of the nicest shell loading Airsoft Revolvers I have reviewed, and I do hope that one day it is available in a Steel BB version. I do recommend for sure using heavier Airsoft BB for better accuracy, and again if you are a smaller person or young adult, this Revolver may be a bit chunky at around 3 pounds. The single action trigger is very usable for precise shot placement, but I would say it is not overly light. Of course you can shoot double action if you want to unload the 6 rounds quickly when action shooting. I do like that Umarex has gone with larger shells and a beefier cylinder which is a lot closer to what your would expect from a 44 magnum in terms of shell casing size. If you want the ultimate Shell Loading Airsoft Revolver than this one is for sure on the top of the list!

Trigger Pull: The Umarex Smith & Wesson 629 Competitor CO2 Airsoft Revolver shoots in either single action or double action. If you pull the hammer back, you can shoot in single action which will give you a super short trigger pull with virtually no takeup and a very light and predictable release, perfect for when you are wanting the best possible accuracy out of this Airsoft Revolver. You can also simply just pull the trigger in double action which means your trigger finger is doing all the work of pulling back the hammer and releasing it which is a much longer trigger pull that is between medium and heavy pull, but still fine for quicker action shooting.
Accuracy: So far I have not shot the Umarex Smith & Wesson 629 Competitor CO2 Airsoft Revolver but I have shot a lot of similar shell loading 6 shooter revolvers. Yes the cylinder and the actual shells are a bit larger but this should not really affect accuracy or power. Umarex does claim a max velocity of 500 fps which does seem high, so it will be interesting to see if the Umarex Smith & Wesson 629 Competitor CO2 Airsoft Revolver will actually hit these numbers. In my past Field Test Shooting Video Reviews I am generally able to get at least a 2 inch 6 shot groupings from 30 feet away from my paper target so hopefully that is the case with the S&W 629 Competitor.
Build Quality: If you’re looking for a very solid and hefty Airsoft revolver, than I don’t think there is anything more beefy than the Umarex Smith & Wesson 629 Competitor CO2 Airsoft Revolver. It is a whopping 3.3 pounds and is almost all metal so smaller handed shooters may find this one a bit too much to hold comfortably. Fit and finish is very good and I do really like the satin stainless steel look to it even though Umarex calls it a chrome finish.
Realism: I like the shell loading revolvers for the added realism you get manually loading the cylinder with 6 preloaded shells. In almost all of the shell loading 6 shooter revolvers, the cylinder and shells are actually smaller than what you would find in a real steel 6 shooter revolver, especially the Single Action Army Revolvers as they would normally shoot a .45 caliber shell rather than a .38 caliber shells. So it is nice that Umarex didn’t just go with already to go parts and they gave the Umarex Smith & Wesson 629 Competitor CO2 Airsoft Revolver newly designed larger shells and a larger cylinder, maybe the shells are not actually .44 caliber in size but the larger cylinder and larger shells does give it more realism. Of course almost all the parts function just like they would in a real steel revolver.

Super realistic loading and shooting with the removable shells.
Cons:
Does come with an orange tip.
No adjustable hop-up I can see.
Rather large and heavy so not great for younger or smaller handed shooters.
Velocity may be a bit hot for some Airsoft games.
Comments:
I think my main takeaway for the Umarex Smith & Wesson 629 Competitor CO2 Airsoft Revolver is that Umarex has a new larger shell and cylinder design, which is closer to the actual shell and cylinder size of a .44 magnum, so maybe we will see this design coming out in future shell loading revolvers. Other noticeable features are for sure the size and weight of this beast. If you add a red dot or optical sight to it, then this Airsoft revolver could weigh in at nearly 4 pounds! If you want the ultimate shell loading revolver than this is probably going to be the choice to go with, unless you want it in 4.5mm steel BB or Pellet versions as at least for right now, it is only available in an Airsoft version, maybe that will change down the road…
In this Mystery Box Unboxing Video I take a look at three Airsoft products, two pistols from Umarex and two AEG Airsoft Rifles from Specna Arms. As this is essentially an Unboxing Preview Video, I don’t go into a lot of detail for each item as this is my first real exposure to these items for the most part. I will be making full Table Top and Field Test Video for each item once I get to know them a bit better and share all the specifications and features along with shooting performance.
Starting with the Umarex products, I did get the chance to checkout the Umarex Smith & Wesson 629 CO2 Airsoft Revolver at this years SHOT Show, and it is a very solid shell loading 44 Magnum styled Revolver with full Smith and Wesson licensing. From what I remember this item may only come in the Airsoft version at the time of this review and it does have a claimed velocity of 500 which may be a bit hot for Airsoft games but it would be a lot of fun shooting at pop cans and the likes.
The second Umarex products is a pretty basic mostly clear plastic Spring Powered Beretta 92 FS Airsoft Pistol. It is fairly light weight with it’s mostly all plastic construction and the velocity is also on the lower side at only around 250 fps. Since it is distributed by Umarex it carries the Beretta licensing which is nice and all, but on a clear plastic gun I am not sure if is really a major feature.
The first Airsoft Rifle out of the Mystery Box was the Specna Arms SA-FX11 FLEX AEG Airsoft Rifle which is your standard AR configuration, mine was the shorter barrel version but it does come in a longer barrel version as well. The top and bottom receiver and most of the outer components are going to be Nylon Fiber Reinforced Plastic. It does include features like Rotational Hop Up Chamber, SA ETU™ Optical Electronic System Optimizes for improved trigger response and Quick Spring Change System to name a few.
Something I don’t see too often are Pink Assault Rifles! So it was nice to get the pink version of the Specna Arms SA-FX02 FLEX AEG Airsoft Rifle. It does come in a Black and Tan version along with an all Black configuration. It’s really a great looking AEG Airsoft Rifle in any color you decide to go with, and I like the compact feel it has with lots of options for mounting accessories on the top bottom and side rails. You can get going right away using the included pop-up front and rear sights or throw a red dot or optical sight on it.

First up I loaded up a mag of .20 gram Airsoft BB’s and proceeded to shoot 5 rounds through my Chronograph to get a baseline average. Specna Arms claims around 370-380 fps using the preinstalled internal spring setup. I averaged 382 fps with my slowest shot recording 379 fps and my fastest shot hitting 383 fps. All of them really close in terms of velocity and right on the mark of the claimed 370-380 fps using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s.
With the Velocity Test in the bag, I moved on to my Accuracy Test for the Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG Airsoft Rifle where I first shot 10 rounds in semi auto to see how tight of a grouping I could get, and then I also finished up the rest of the partially full magazine in full auto to see if that grouping opened up a bit with a lot more rounds and a bit of full auto rocking around. For my 10 shot semi auto grouping I did get around a 1 to 1.5 inch spread, and notably all 10 shots hit the bullseye with no sight adjustments out of the box. Unleashing the Specna Arms Core SA-J73 in full auto, the group did spread out just a little bit to around 3 inches or so, but again right on top of the bullseye for the most part. Very impressive results for sure!
Overall I am super impressed with the Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG Airsoft Rifle! At around $200 Canadian you get a well made decent quality AEG Airsoft Rifle that not only looks and feels really good, but performs as good if not better than some much more expensive AEG Airsoft Rifles out there. All you really need to get on top of this purchase would be a decent charger and battery setup along with some quality Airsoft BB’s and then you are ready to go. No need for any more upgrades at least not right away. So if you are looking for an affordable AK type AEG Airsoft Rifle with no real compromises to speak of, look no further than the Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG Airsoft Rifle. Not much else will be a better option in this price range.

So first up I loaded up a mag full of .20 gram Airsoft BB’s and proceeded to shoot 5 rounds through my Chronograph. Specna Arms claims around 380 fps using the preinstalled spring setup, I averaged 348 with my slowest shot recording 344 fps and my fastest shot hitting 351 fps, so all of them pretty close in terms of velocity but a bit under the claimed 380 fps using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s
With the Velocity Test completed I moved on to my Accuracy Test for the Specna Arms Edge SA-X01 AEG Airsoft Rifle Field where I not only shot 10 rounds in semi auto to see how tight of a grouping I could get, I also finished up the 120 round magazine in full auto to see if that grouping opened up a bit with a lot more rounds and a bit of full auto shake. For my 10 shot grouping I did get around a 2 inch spread, I did notice the Specna Arms Edge SA-X01 AEG Airsoft Rifle shot really low and a bit to the right out of the box. I would say about 8 inches low and 3-4 inches to the right. There is some sight adjustment you can do so you should be able to dial in the sights to your personal preference. When I switched over to full auto which is always more enjoyable with AEG Airsoft Rifles, the grouping did open up a bit but not a lot more, maybe as much as 4 inches but I did put close to 100 rounds additionally into the target.
Overall I am impressed with the Specna Arms Edge SA-X01 AEG Airsoft Rifle, I would have liked to have seen it shoot a bit closer to the bullseye out of the box using the iron sights, but personally I would more than likely add a red dot sight anyway, and that will correct any sighting problems one may have with this Airlift Rifle. The FPS is I would say about perfect for most Airsoft shooting conditions and it can be used with the pre-installed spring either for CQB or out door games. I do like the 120 round magazines as there is no need to whined a spring half way through a magazine but you will need more magazines on hand or a good speed loader handy for an Airsoft Battle. Just keep in mind your battery options will be limited due to the battery area being rather small since this very compact AIrsoft Rifle does have limited space to put a battery.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Specna Arms Edge SA-X01 AEG Airsoft Rifle is fairly shot and light, it is basically a simple off off switch as it is not mechanical but rather electric. For this reason there is no real creep or feel of a release. When you get to a point in the trigger you close a circuit that activates the electors motor cycling the spring.
Accuracy: At this time I have not made my Field Test Shooting Video or even shot the Specna Arms Edge SA-X01 AEG Airsoft Rifle, I am planning to make a video for this rifle next week if all goes well. I have reviewed other Specna Ames Core products in the past and made Field test Videos for them so perhaps check one of those videos out in the time being for a bit of a heads up of what you can expect from the Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG Airsoft Rifle.
Build Quality: Specna Arms Airsoft Rifles are made of good quality no matter if you go with the Core or Edge versions. You will still get a quality product with quality materials and metal parts where you need them. The Edge Series offers upgrades like more metal parts, improved gearboxes and electronics along with additional accessories but you pay a bit rmeo for the added quality and add ons.
Realism: The Specna Arms Edge SA-X01 AEG Airsoft Rifle is based on the AR15 or M16 platform of course in a very modern compact PDW styled. It looks and feels the part for sure with lots of working parts including the safety, selector switch, charging handle, dust cover, adjustable rear stock, pop-up front and rear sights as you would expect. Most of the hardware should be interchangeable with a real steel AR if you want to personalize the look of your Specna Arms Rifle.

I for sure like the look of the Specna Arms Edge SA-X01 AEG Airsoft Rifle, but more than that you get a really great Compact PDW Airsoft Rifle at a reasonable price with a ton of quality components and a mostly all metal build. Specna Arms even includes an additional magazine in the box. You could go with one of their Core series of Airsoft Rifles in a similar PDW and save a bit of money but if you can afford the upgrade then I would go for this version as you will not need to upgrade it in the future and that alone will save you some money over time. I would suggest adding a couple Lipo batters and a good charger to your shopping cart and maybe even an couple more magazines.

Build Quality: One thing I can say, is no matter if you get the Core or Edge version of the Specna Arms AEG Air Rifles, you are getting extremely good value for your money, and neither one is going to have any low quality parts in it. Even the lower cost Core Series will have fiber glass reenforced plastic and metal parts along with a metal gearbox and virtually almost the same build as the more premium and higher priced Edge Series. You will get upgrades in the Edge Series like an aluminum receiver and buffer tube, a GATE X-ASR Mosfet, upgraded Gearboes, and an additional magazine.
Realism: The Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG Airsoft Rifle is based on the AK platform with a bit of a more modern look to it which includes a synthetic folding stock, a sight mounting system and a more modern magazine design. The Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG has lots of metal parts in it and has a good overall weight and feel to it which make is not too heavy or too light in my opinion. Our Canada version even come with a black flash hider rather than orange one which helps with realism.

The Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG Airsoft Rifle for right around $200 is not what I would expect for such a lower priced more entry level Airsoft Rifle. The build quality and components in this Airsoft Rifle are not budget by any means and when you hold it, it feels like a very high quality product. Sure you don’t get a battery or charger with it which you often find bundled with lower cost Airsoft Rifles, but generally these batteries and chargers are extremely entry level and will require upgrading almost immediately. So do yourself a favor and invest in a good battery setup if you do not already have one. If you’re in the market for an AK based AEG Airsoft Rifle and have a limited budget but still want a decent product, then I would recommend the Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG Airsoft Rifle for sure.

I love making these Mystery Box Unboxing Videos as many of the items inside are actually real mysteries to me, some I may have an idea of but even these items are new to me so it’s fun to open them up and check them all out. In this October 2023 Mystery Box Video I checkout 9 items ranging from AEG Airsoft Rifles to Airsoft , BB and Pellet Pistols. There is even a new Steel BB product from Sig Sauer that is a compact rifle with a 3 round burst option when shooting.

TriggerPull: Like almost every other AEG Airsoft Rifle I’ve reviewed in the past, the trigger pull on the Specna Arms RRA SA-CO2 AEG Airsoft Rifle is a SAO with a light and short trigger feel. Most AEG Airsoft Rifles basically have a trigger that is an electrical on/off switch. The trigger pressure is not super light but for sure not heavy and the pull length is about a half centimeter long (quarter inch or so) and when you get to the end it basically actives the electric motor which compresses the spring allowing for semi or full auto shooting depending on what you have selected. Keep in mind higher voltage batteries will wind faster and make the hesitation shorter from the time you pull the trigger till the spring releases and shoots a BB.
Accuracy: In most cases I make my Table Top Review Video for each gun I review first, so I will not be able to share my experience of how this Specna Arms RRA SA-CO2 AEG Airsoft Rifle performs as that experience has not happened yet. I am planning to make my Field Test Shooting Video in a couple of weeks so stay posted for that video. You can watch a similar Specna Arms Core AEG Airsoft rifle video I have made previously showcasing a Core versus Edge series. The Specna Arms RRA SA-CO2 AEG Airsoft Rifle should performs about the same as a similar Core AEG Airsoft Rifle from Specna Arms.
Build Quality: Generally speaking from my past hands on with Sepcna Arms products both in Core and Edge version, they have been good in terms of quality and build. The Core versions will be a step down from the Edge version but they have still proven to perform well and hav a good overall build with decent internals no matter which version you decide to go with. I will say I did experience a problem with my Specna Arms RRA SA-CO2 AEG Airsoft Rifle when I pulled the charging handle back I had a fairly major malfunction with it. I am fairly sure the spring got jammed and now the charging handle will not spring back into forward resting position. This should not affect my Field Test Shooting Video as the only real purpose of this type of charging system is to open the dust cover and allow access to the hop-up system. I can still do this but need to pull back the hop door manually. Getting back to build quality, you get a plastic reacievr, buffer tube, carry handle, fore grip, magazine, rear stock and pistol grip. Metal can be found in most of the controls, the barrel and of course the trigger.
Realism: Other than the Specna Arms RRA SA-CO2 AEG Airsoft Rifle having a fair amount of plastic components it is a very realistic copy of a similar styled AR type Rifle. It will be a bit lighter but feels decent to hold and you can add a bit of mass by swapping out the carry hand and fore grip with metal versions.
Pros:
More classic AR15 look to it if you prefer that.
Quality components throughout even in the lower priced Core series.

It is unfortunate that my review version of the Specna Arms RRA SA-CO2 AEG Airsoft Rifle was defective, this can happen to any product ever high end Airguns. It does not happen very often thankfully and this would be the first time it has happened to me with a Specna Arms Product so don’t be too hard on them. Fortunately I should still be able to make my Field test Shooting Video and get that info out to everyone. As it stands I think the Specna Arms RRA SA-CO2 AEG Airsoft Rifle is well priced and good value (in 100% working condition of course). Personally I would look more at the Edge series as the quality is a for sure a big step up but not everyone has a big budget so get what works best for your needs and budget.

In this Field test Shooting Video I Test out the Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle in the Replica Airguns Indoor Airgun Shooting Range to find out what kind of velocity we can achieve using standard .20 gram Plastic Airsoft BB’s. I also shoot 10 rounds in semi auto at my paper target 30 feet down range to see what kind of grouping I can get and then switch it over to full auto and let her rip till I am basically out of ammo and see if I can punch a nice hole in my cardboard backed target. Starting with my velocity test, I shot 5 rounds through my Chronograph using .20 gram Plastic Airsoft BB’s with the preinstalled spring and got an average of 402 fps with my lowest velocity being 400 and my highest velocity being 405 so really close in fps. You can tone down the Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle a bit b y installing the M90 Spring if you find the fps to be a bit high for close quarter battles.
For the accuracy portion of this Field Test Shooting Review I proceeded to fire 10 semi auto rounds into a paper target setup 30 feet away. I use a semi rested shooting position with the Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle resting on a sand bag up front and me sitting on a stool for stability. My 10 shot grouping was all within around 1 to 1.5 inches which is very good for an Airsoft Rifle shooting lighter Plastic BB’s. I then switched the selector into “fun mode” (Full Auto) and proceeded to hold the trigger down until I ran out of spring tension on the High Cap Magazine. I would say I got through around 100+ rounds with most of them making about a 2 inch hole in my target consisting of cardboard and of course the paper target in front of it.
I have reviewed the Specula Arms line of Airsoft Rifles in the past, both the Core and the Edge and they really are great Airsoft Guns. The Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle as expected lived up to my expectations and performed really great in this Field Test Shooting Video. Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex S&W M&P 9L Blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol is fairly light weight being a single action only trigger. There is about a quarter inch of take up with an easy release that is not hitchy at all. You will need to rack the slide to load your first Airsoft BB into the breach and engage the action but on the first shot but then the blowback action does this for you until the Airsoft Pistol is out of ammo and the slide locks back.
Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the Umarex S&W M&P 9L Blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol so stay posted for that video coming out in the next couple of weeks. Umarex has claimed a velocity of around 410 FPS using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s but that does seem a bit quick, well will have to see when I place some shots though my Chronograph! In terms of accuracy I expect it to shoot about the same as most Full Blowback Airsoft Pistols which generally produces a 1.5 to 2 inch 10 shot grouping from 30 feet out using a semi rested shooting position. Again we will find out when I perform my Field Test Shooting Video for the Umarex S&W M&P 9L Blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol.
Build Quality: The Umarex S&W M&P 9L Blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol build quality is fairly decent, fit and finish looks good with not too much slide wiggle and the materials used are both metal and plastic or polymer that look to be good quality. I do expect some of the black finishes ot come off on the high spots as these guns are generally electroplated and not too thick with it but this can actually make the gun look more realistic with that slightly worn in look to it.
Realism: The Umarex S&W M&P 9L Blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol in terms of looking like the real steel version of its counterpart is very close for sure, it would be hard to tell without really taking a close look t it. Everything about this Replica Pistol works for the most part like the real steel version including most of the mechanical parts like the slide catch release, magazine release, take down lever, trigger safety and you can even fully field strip it which gives you easy access to the hopup on the barrel. Of course the full blowback action really seals the deal in terms of making this gun shoot like a real semi auto pistol.

Very accurate replica of the S&W M&P 9L.
Fairly accurate weight and feel to it.
Metal and plastic parts where you find them on the real steel version, fit and finish is good.

Comments: The Umarex S&W M&P 9L Blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol is a nice addition to the Smith & Wesson M&P line of Replica Airguns. I’m glad they made it in full blowback but being Airsoft based that is generally the way they lean towards. Hopefully we get to see 4.5mm Steel BB version too in the future! For now we have it in Airsoft and with the longer barrel perhaps it will shoot a bit hotter than most of the other CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistols, maybe even 410fps like Umarex claims but I will be surprised if it does. I will be happy to see something in the high 300’s to be honest. No matter what, you now have yet another Smith & Wesson option to consider when looking for your ultimate Replica Airgun!

You will get upgrades in the Edge Series such as a an aluminum receiver and buffer tube, a GATE X-ASR Mosfet, the New Orion Gearbox, deep laser engraved licensing and an additional magazine. All of this for the little bit more you pay for an Edge series Specna Arms AEG Airsoft rifle.
Realism: The Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle is based on the AR15 or M16 platform of course in a very modern and PDW styled look. Value for your money is what comes to mind when I think about the entire Specna Ams AEG Airsoft Riffle product line, especially with the Core series. The Specna Arms Core SA-C07-PDW AEG Airsoft Rifle is probably one of my more favorite versions as I really like PDW style compact AR’s in general. You will have to make sure you have on hand a very compact battery as space is extremely limited but other than that one main downside to this style of AEG everything else about it for the money is bang on and worth any slight compromises.

As the title suggest this a video about a Huge Mystery Box so I am not going to say what’s in it, I can say that their are 4 main products mostly rifles per-say. One is a Futuristic Full Auto BB Rifle, one is a Paintball Shotgun, One is an AEG Airsoft Rifle and one is a Replica Break Barrel Pellet Rifle.
So I have a lot of variety here to show everyone! I did absolutely zero research on any of the products I show in this video since like you I had no real idea what was inside other than how many and that most where rifle based.
Enjoy finding out what new products I will be reviewing over the next month with dedicated Table Top and Field Test Shooting videos.
For this Field Test Shooting Video I put the Specna Arms RRA SA-C10 Core and Specna Arms RRA SA-E10 Edge head to head to see just how they will compare in terms of FPS and Accuracy at least out to 30 feet. If you want to know more about each of these AEG Specna Arms Airsoft Rifles then checkout my Table Top Review where I show them up nice and close and also talk about their specifications and how they both compare to each other.
For my Chronograph test, I decided to go with .25 gram Airsoft BB’s, a little bit heavier than what was used for the claimed FPS of around 380 using the M120 spring which by the way is preinstalled in these guns for import into Canada. Both the Specna Arms RRA SA-C10 Core and E10 Edge shot pretty similar with the C10 Core averaging right around 300 FPS and the E10 Edge shooting a little bit faster with 318 FPS. Throw some lighter .20 gram Airsoft BB’s into the mix and these numbers would go up for sure. I was using the same 11.1 volt Li-Po battery for all of my testing in this video.
Next I placed a fresh paper target 30 feet downrange and placed 10 semi auto rounds into it using a seated and rested shooting position. Both Specna Arms AEG Airsoft Rifles shot about a 1 inch grouping. I did find with both of these Specna Arms rifles that when using the peep sight they shot too low and when using the top notch sight they shot too high at least at this distance. Of course the sights are fully adjustable so this can easily be taken care of and you can adjust the hop-up for even more elevation considerations. After my 10 shot semi auto test I placed both Specna Arms Airsoft rifles in Full Auto and let the paper have it! As expected the groupings did spread out a little bit but not all that much, perhaps opening up to around 3-4 inches.
After testing both the Specna Arms RRA SA-C10 Core and E10 Edge AEG Airsoft Rifles side by side you really can’t go wrong with either version as they performed very similarly on the Chronograph and on Target. If you can afford to pay the little bit more than I would go with an Edge Series Specna Arms product since you do get a lot of extras for the little bit more you pay. Well worth it!

You are just getting upgrades you are probably going to do at some point in time with the Edge Series and of course more metal components when you spend about $100 more for a similar Edge version. I figure if you can muster up the extra cash then go with an Edge Specna Arms AEG Airsoft Rifle, that said, any of the Core models will be money well spent.
