Luckily I was able to find some time with James again this year and James gave us all the new details on some of the KWA updated and new products. Starting with the KWA ATP-Z Blowback Airsoft Training Pistol added recently to the KWA lineup, James also showed us a few versatile Carbine Pistol Kits made specifically for the ATP-Z and ATP-GT Pistols. Not yet fully released, James went over their updated TAC-9 hopefully coming out this year. We then got a nice tour of the updated Radian Model 1 AEG Airsoft Rifle with built in recoil system also built into KWA’s Q10 AEG Airsoft Rifle.
I’m back from SHOT Show 2025 Las Vegas and finished transferring and uploading all the video from all the cameras we shot it all on. We had a great time, we met a lot of great folks at the booths and it’s now time to put it all together and make some videos for everyone so I can share the experience!

Here is video two in my series of Full Auto Fun videos I make each summer where I pick a few Full Auto Airguns and record some fun outside shooting with them. In this years Full Auto Fun Video series I do a bit of a walk around on my property and shoot a bunch of water filled pop cans. Maybe this doesn’t sound super exciting but I do use some really creative camera angles to capture it all which makes it lot more interesting to watch for sure!
In this second Full Auto Fun video I test out the classic KWA Mini UZI Blowback CO2 4.5mm BB Machine Gun, at least with this video I did actually shoot in full auto but the video did not go without a few hiccups as my HoverAir Drone decided I was stopping for too long to take my shots and turned itself off a couple of times. And my Meta Glasses decided to get chunky on me and lower their frame rate down to a rather hard to watch frame per second. I did eventually make it though this video but it cold have gone better. No I am not redoing this one as it was shot in Full Auto this time which is what I promised. I can not promise all my tech gear will cooperate exactly s expected but I was able to get some decent footage overall if you can ignore the choppy video for the Meta Glasses for part of the video.
In this performance Field Test Shooting Video for the John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver, I test out what the fps velocity is using a fresh standard 12 gram CO2 cartridge and shooting 4.5mm Steel BB’s through my Chronograph. I then setup a paper target 30 feet down range and shoot 10 rounds into it using the Single Action Only Trigger to see how tight of a grouping I can get out of the box. If you have not already watched my Table Top Video Review for the John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver, then make sure to do so for details and specifications along with some nice close up video.
First up for my velocity fps test of the John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver, I shot 5 rounds through my Chronograph. The slowest fps was 354 and the fastest shot hit an fps of 368, this result averaged 358 fps which was a somewhat under the claimed “up to” 420 fps from AirVenturi, still an OK velocity for shooting pop cans and the likes up to 30-40 feet away. The temperature in the Sea Can was about 20 degrees Celsius which is around 68 degrees Fahrenheit, so a good temperature to get middle of the road performance from a CO2 Airgun like the John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver. In warmer temperatures you can expect higher velocities…
I then placed my paper target on my pellet trap 30 feet downrange and using my standard semi rested shooting position (hands rested on a sandbag up front and sitting on a stool in the back), I proceeded to shoot 10 rounds into the target with the John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver and I was able to get about a 4 inch grouping well centered up and down but pushed to the left about 3 inches. I am not sure why this shot grouping spread out so much for me as my Crosman Forty Filed Test Review gave me a much better grouping and these guns are literally the same gun with different branding being the only real differences. Maybe I was just off on this day? Hey it happens sometimes!
The John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver is a lower cost mostly plastic Single Action Army Revolver with a fair amount of plastic in the build, but it does feel fairly well built and fairly solid other than being a bit lighter weight. It should produce close to 400 fps velocities in warmer conditions which is more than enough for plinking and pop can shooting which is really what it is built for. I do have to mention that this John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver for whatever reason is double the price of the Crosman Fortify CO2 BB Revolver I reviewed earlier, so if you don’t care about the John Wayne Licensing, than maybe consider the Crosman version for a lower priced option.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver is a single action only trigger, so you will have to cock the hammer back with each shot which does take away most of the trigger pull length and weight, making the Marshal trigger short and light and easy to shoot. Ideal for slowed down accurate shot placement, but less effective as an action shooter unless you have a very quick thumb!
Accuracy: I have not tested out the John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver but it should perform exactly like the Crosman Fortify revolver as they are literally the exact same gun with the exception of the branding and licensing. In my Field Test Shooting Review for the Crosman Fortify CO2 BB Revolver it did shoot a little bit lower than the claimed 420 fps and shot around a 2 inch 10 shot grouping at a target setup 30 feet away. Build Quality: When it comes to the build for the John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver, there is not a lot to get overly excited about. It is basically a mostly all plastic gun with some metal parts internally like the barrel, trigger, hammer and CO2 area. The John Wayne Marshal has that lower cost Airgun, two halves, screwed together build which generally looks better on the side without the screws showing. As it is mostly plastic it is on the light side at around just over a pound. Overall there are not a lot of moving parts so it should be reliable enough just for that reason alone. All the mechanical components do what they need to do and feel solid enough.
Realism: The John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver at a glance looks a lot like a Colt Single Action Army Revolver, it has the same shape and size but the weight is much less at about half. The lack of actual bullet holes in the cylinder looking from the front of the revolver does take away from its realism. I guess I am really used to the new generation revolvers with working cylinders and real loadable and removable shells, but these guns are more expensive and hold less ammo as they are genuine to the 6 shooter capacity.
Pros:
A decent looking replica of a Colt Single Action Army revolver.
Single action only trigger is short and light and well suited to careful shot placement shooting.
420 claimed fps is about perfect for plinking at ranges up 30-40 feet.
18 round magazine has a nice high capacity and easy to load when empty
Safety is well thought out and built into an already existing part of the gun rather than simply adding a switch afterwards.
I like the look with the all back frame and bone white grips.
CO2 Allen key is built into grip so you always have it on hand and will not lose it.
John Wayne licensed for those old west John Wayne fans.
Cons:
Mostly plastic builds makes it a bit light in the hand.
No fake shell holes in the front of the cylinder, could have added this for a more genuine look.
Twice the price of the Crosman Fortify which is basically the same Airgun.
Comments: The John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver is for sure an option if you are looking for an old west single action cowboy BB shooter and specifically if you are a John Wayne fan. If you don't care about the John Wayne licensing and want to save about half of the price then my recommendation is to go for the Crosman Fortify as it is the same exact CO2 BB Revolver at the end of the day minus the john Wayne licensing on it. You also have the option of buying one of the many Shell Loading Single Action Army Revolvers available but they are a bit more money and will shoot a little slower with less ammo capacity but the trade of is a lot more realism.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex KWA HK USP Match GBB Airsoft Pistol is nice in both single and double action. Most of the time you will be shooting in single action as once the blowback action kicks in the slide cycle will pre-cock the hammer allowing for short light single action trigger pulls. You can de-cock this pistol dropping the hammer, at that point your next shot will be in double action until the blowback action again pre-cocks the hammer for you. Both single and double action on this pistol feel good with single action being shorter and lighter while the double action is still very usable.
Accuracy: I have yet to shoot the Umarex KWA HK USP Match GBB Airsoft Pistol or perform my standard Field Test shooting Video so I can not comment on the performance other than what Umarex claimes in terms of velocity (365 fps). I expect the Umarex KWA HK USP Match to perform well as it is a competition style pistol with fully adjustable sights. So even if it shoots bit off out of the box I can dial it in closer to the bulls eye with a simple turn of the sight adjustment screws. This Airsoft gun has a really nice weight and feel in the hand and is really well balance so that should help out with accuracy but we will find out soon enough…
Build Quality: The Umarex KWA HK USP Match GBB Airsoft Pistol is a quality product all around with Metal and Polymer construction. You will find a machined aluminum alloy slide, CNC machined aluminum compensator weight and an injection molded polymer frame. Fit and finishes is very good which is what I find with most KWA built products. Internally this product KWA utilizes the NS2 gas blowback system that provides excellent gas efficiency and performance.
Realism: The Umarex KWA HK USP Match GBB Airsoft Pistol is as close to the real steel version as you can get with an Airsoft Pistol replicating looks and function very closely. It has full blowback action with all the mechanical parts operating as they would on the real steel version. Metal parts and plastic parts are found in all the same places and you can fully field strip the Umarex KWA HK USP Match GBB Airsoft Pistol just like the .45 caliber version.
Pros:
Single and double action trigger with a nice light short single action trigger.
Fit and finish is excellent, top notch build materials.
This pistol is pretty heavy at almost 2.5 pounds!
Extremely close replica of the real steel HK USP Match in both looks and function.
Decently priced for a quality Airgun.

Comments:
The Umarex KWA HK USP Match GBB Airsoft Pistol is on the larger size and may not be for everyone but if you don’t mind a beefier Airsoft Pistol, you will get a lot from this one. It almost has a bit of that RoboCop look to it which I don’t mind. You also have a lot of control over this Airsoft Pistol with full ambidextrous controls, fully adjustable sights and both a single and double action trigger. And then there is the compensator, it does look cool but I am not really sure how much it is going to improve shooting this gun if any. For the price you do get a lot with the Umarex KWA HK USP Match GBB Airsoft Pistol.

I did get the chance to interview several Airgun Companies that I will be putting together Interview Videos for, including Umarex, ASG, KWA, Barra, EKOL and Byrna. Unfortunately Sig Sauer is no longer attending SHOT Show and Crosman had significantly reduced the focus of their booth and really did not have much in the way of Replica Airguns to show.
Back in 2017 I made “Which Beretta Airgun is the Best” Video and showed off some 4.5mm Steel BB and .177 Caliber Pellet versions of my favorite Beretta 92 - M9 style Air Pistols. There have been some changes since then most noticeably the addition to Airsoft versions so I thought I would update this video with more current Beretta Airguns along with of course some of the same ones form my last video.

I will say right off the bat this Field Test Shooting Video for the Air Venturi 3000 PSI Aluminum HPA Tank with Stock and Adapter did not go as well as I would have wanted it to! The HPA tank itself worked really well but I believe the adapter was faulty as it was destroying the seals on my tank and not regulating very well.
I still wanted to publish this video regardless as not all reviews go as planned, some fail horribly but I would rather be honest and transparent about it rather than have you believe every product is a perfect.
There will always be problems even with really great products there can be defects. I plan to get a new adaptor and try this Field Test Review Video again but for now you can have some fun watching me at least have some success using the Air Venturi 3000 PSI Aluminum HPA Tank with Stock on my Rap4 Rap5 MP5.

I will also be following up my Table Top video with a Field Test Shooting Video to see what possible advantages and disadvantages the Air Venturi 3000 PSI with Stock & Adapter Aluminum Tank has in a real world test of its performance, hopefully all advantages!
Pros:
Compact and is the perfect size to use as a rear buttstock for various 88 Gram and or HPA rifles.
Smaller tank means if you are using a foot pump it won’t take all day to fill up :)
Comes with adapter so can be used with regular HPA and 88 Gram CO2 systems.
Regulated to 1100 psi so should perform better in terms of max velocity and consistency compared to CO2 which is around max 800-900 psi with velocity being effected by cool down.
Not effected by colder temperatures compared to CO2.
Once you have this tank the cost is virtually nothing to shoot compared to expensive 88 Gram CO2 cartages. You just need to buy your pellets or BB’s.
Cons:
Still takes a while to pump up using a foot pump system.
Higher initial cost ($195) than simply buying 88 gram CO2 cartages when you need them.
Will need access to a pump or compressor to use it.
Doesn’t look as good as the supplied buttstock at least with the Sig Sauer MCX and MPX.
Comments:
I guess the question is who is this for? If you are a casual shooter that perhaps owns the Sig MPX or MCX or even another 88 Gram CO2 Air Rifle that the Air Venturi 3000 PSI with Stock & Adapter Aluminum Tank would work with then this may be a bit expensive especially if you don’t have a way to pressurizer the tank at home. On the other hand if you already have a foot pump or air compressor or easy access to one and maybe you have other HPA or CO2 based airguns this tank will work with then it’s kind a no brainer to get it. Maybe you juts want a system that gives you maximum and consistent velocity no matter how cold it is outside. All good reasons to get one in my books.
In this Update Preview Unboxing Video I take a look at 5 products that came across my table and that I have not reviewed so far on the Replica Airguns YouTube channel.

Probably one of the most interesting product I look at in this video at least for me is the EMG JW3 Combat Master GBB Airsoft Pistol. This Airsoft pistol is mainly aluminum with some polymer based off of the 2011 STI and was featured in the 2019 John Wick 3 Film. Moving along to another Air Pistol I finally get my hands on the Crosman P1 which is really just a KWC PT92 4.5mm Blowback CO2 BB Pistol but with Crosman Branding and an included laser. Since I have never shot a PT92 BB Pistol with a laser I will probably make a Field Test Shooting Video to see how well it performs.

Last up I take a look at the ASG TAC-6 which is pretty much the exact same ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 Air Rifle I tested a while back but in this case the 6 refers to it being a 6mm Airsoft Rifle rather than a 4.5mm Steel BB Riffle. I am not sure I will do a full Table Top Video since these guns are virtually identical but just in different Ammo types but I hope to get outside and see how well it performs shooting at a bit more distance than the 30 foot indoor range I usually test my Airgun in.
In this SHOT Show Las Vegas 2020 Interview Video Scott takes us through a range of new products from Air Venturi.
Scott and I talk about the Air Venturi TR5 and how it came about to fill the hole the Baikal MP-61 left behind. We also talk a look at some new Air Rifles, a pumper called the Butterfly with a super cool linkage based system that makes pumping a lot easier. A PCP side lever cocking Air Rifle that I’m not even sure has a name yet but will be available in .177 .22 and .25 caliber pellet for around $299 US.
The only Air Venturi replica we looked at is a new Springfield Armory under lever Spring Piston Air rifle modeled after the M1A. Last up Scott went showed us how the Bada Bang targeting system is shaping up and looks to be almost ready for production.

We had a lot of great new Airguns that I reviewed this year at Replica Airguns. Some of them really stood out to me and so I made a video showing my Favorite Replica Airgun Picks of 2019. Of course there where many other Airguns that could has just as easily made this video but I had to draw the line somewhere and pick the ones that in my opinion where the best of 2019. In a way I have already Field Tested the Air Venturi TR5 .177 Caliber Pellet Rifle, well at least in the Baikal version. The Air Venturi version is pretty much a knock of of the Baikal IZH MP-61 which not only look a lot alike but also performed very similarly for me, checkout my Baikal YouTube Video Review for comparison. All that said we can not get Baikal products here in North America anymore so it’s great that Air Venturi has recreated a very similar product for us to have in Canada and the US.
Moving on to the Field Test Review for the Air Venturi TR5 .177 Caliber Pellet Rifle, I first placed 5 shots through my Chronograph to see if the Air Venturi TR5 .177 Caliber Pellet Rifle did in fact shoot around 500 fps and in fact I was able to get all 5 shots up and over 500 fps averaging around 513 fps. Still within our Non-regulated firearm laws here in Canada since we where still under the 4.2 foot pound energy limit using 6.9 grain pellets.
As mentioned before when I shot the Baikal IZH MP-61 I was able to get very similar results but I did have an optical scope on the Baikal IZH MP-61 as compared to the Air Venturi TR5 .177 Caliber Pellet Rifle where I just used the open sights. In my opinion the Air Venturi TR5 .177 Caliber Pellet Rifle is good value for your money offering a unique design with excellent performance and getting as much power out of a pellet rifle as you can get here in Canada without requiring a firearms license.

Here we have three very different products I Unbox and Preview for everyone. A Spring Piston multi-shot .177 Caliber Pellet Rifle, a single action BB/Pellet revolver that’s not a Colt! And a really nice looking Semi Auto Blank Pistol in a Chrome finish.
Let’s start with the Air Venturi TR5 Spring Piston 5-shot .177 Caliber Pellet Rifle. I think this is a really well thought out Air Rifle. It’s “almost a Bullpup” in design but it does actually load in front of the trigger just a bit, that said most of the spring piston is behind the trigger setup making it really compact yet with a longer than normal barrel compared to regular Break Barrel Spring Piston Air Rifles. The Air Venturi TR5 Spring Piston 5-shot .177 Caliber Pellet Rifle also has a side lever cocking mechanism along with a 5 round auto indexing magazine which makes it much quicker to cock and reload for fast follow-up shots, again compared to a standard Break Barrel Air Rifle, not to mention no barrel droop! The Air Venturi TR5 Spring Piston 5-shot .177 Caliber Pellet Rifle has a claimed fps of up to 500 so we are getting the max amount of velocity possible for our Canadian laws without making it a regulated firearm and requiring a PAL license. And by the way the Air Venturi TR5 Spring Piston 5-shot .177 Caliber Pellet Rifle does come in both a Lime Green and all Black version just in case you are not a fan of the Lime Green finish I show in this video.
Moving onto the Schofield No. 3 BB/Pellet 6 Shot Revolver Replica, if you like single action revolvers then take a look at the Schofield No. 3 BB/Pellet 6 Shot Revolver Replica. It’s a lot more bulky than a Colt Single Action Revolver and also has that top Break design that makes reloading quick and easy. The version we are selling inner Replica Airgun Online Store is the kit version that comes with 6 BB shells and 6 pellet shells so you can take your pick on ammo types. The barrel is not rifled so Steel BB’s will not hurt the Airgun and since pellets are skirted they do not need a rifled barrel to fly straight and true. You can expect around 445 fps for the Schofield No. 3 BB/Pellet 6 Shot Revolver Replica.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Air Venturi Springfield Armory 1911 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is like all the other KWC made CO2 full blowback 1911's, it's exactly what you would expect from a real steel 1911 single action only pistol which helps to make this replica 1911 a great trainer or show piece. So in other words the trigger pull is super short, super light with very little take-up and a nice crisp break.
Accuracy: I have not shot this "exact version" of the KWC Air Venturi 1911 but it will undoubtedly perform very much like all the other incarnations. I can expect decent under 2 inch groupings from 30 feet out and will get a little over 300 fps on a full CO2 cartridges as long as it’s decently warm out. Depending on how fast I shoot off my magazines, I should expect to get around 3 good mags and if I slow things down a bit I should get a forth magazine so anywhere from 50-70 good or so shots per CO2 out of the Air Venturi Springfield Armory 1911 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol. Build Quality: Very good, with almost all metal construction, good weight and craftsmanship, the KWC 1911 line of pistols have proven themselves over time, that said they will not last forever since these are not expensive guns made out of high quality metals. You will find most of these KWC pistols in general have a rather thin coating for a finish and so they tend to wear a bit on the high spots but over time this has been improving with KWC made Airguns.
Realism: This is as close as you can come to the look, weight, feel, and action of the real 1911 in virtually almost every way including the ability to field strip this pistol exactly the same! All the mechanical parts work just like they do on a real steel 1911 including the grip safety. On top of all of this Air Venturi has licensed the Air Venturi Springfield Armory 1911 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol with very realistic Springfield branding thought the Airgun.
All metal construction - Good weight and solid feeling gun.
Heavy blowback action with that 1911 sluggish feel.
Very Accurate 1911 A1 styled replica in pretty much every way.
True 1911 Single action trigger, excellent pull, very smooth and light.
Working backstop safety
3 dot white sights help with target acquisition on darker backgrounds.

I really never get tired of making reviews for the KWC 1911 line of CO2 Blowback Airguns, sure they are all made from the same base KWC 1911 Aigun but each one has its own unique look and customization to it. I really like the Faux plastic wood grips with the deep Springfield Armory licensing on this version. And the matt black slide and frame with the chrome barrel and silver barrel bushing really look sharp on this 1911 BB Gun. Even though the Air Venturi Springfield Armory 1911 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is basically a standard 1911 A1, the added touch of the White Dot sights will for sure help when shooting this Blowback BB Gun at what ever target you point it at.

Todays Field Test Shooting Video focusses on the Air Venturi Springfield Armory M1 Carbine CO2 BB Rifle, I have not done my Table Top Video yet for it but I did make a preview video where I show it around a bit and talk about some basic specs. In short the Air Venturi Springfield Armory M1 Carbine CO2 BB Rifle is a CO2 powered semi auto 4.5mm Steel BB firing replica of the Springfield Armory M1 Carbine. It holds the CO2 and 15 rounds of Steel BB’s in its full size drop out metal magazine. Available with a plastic or upgraded wood stock.
For the Field Test Shooting part of this review I tested out the power and accuracy of the Air Venturi Springfield Armory M1 Carbine CO2 BB Rifle by first shooting 5 rounds through my Chronograph to establish the Feet Per Second velocity. I then placed a fresh paper target 30 feet downrange, while using a rested and seated shooting position I fired off 10 rounds into the target to see how tight of a group I can get with the Air Venturi Springfield Armory M1 Carbine CO2 BB Rifle. I used a brand new CO2 along with 5.1 grain 4.5mm Zinc coated Steel BB’s. The temperature was a conservative 22 degrees Celsius or 71 degrees Fahrenheit.
During my Chronograph velocity test I was a bit surprised to only obtain an average of 335 fps from the Air Venturi Springfield Armory M1 Carbine CO2 BB Rifle. Air Venturi claims closer to 425 so I am not sure why it was nearly 100 fps lower than claimed but perhaps the CO2 did not pierce as well as it could have, that said 335 fps does get the job done when shooting targets 20-30 feet away.
In terms of accuracy I was very pleased with the Air Venturi Springfield Armory M1 Carbine CO2 BB Rifle, it kind of made up for the slower than expected feet per second by getting a sub 1 inch 10 round group and I am not a big fan of peep sights so I was really not expecting these results. Right out of the box the Air Venturi Springfield Armory M1 Carbine CO2 BB Rifle shot pretty close to the bullseye, just s slight bit to the left and about 1-2 inches high. The rear sight is adjustable for elevation so that can be taken care of pretty easy.
