Trigger Pull: The trigger on the Specna Arms SA-FX02 FLEX AEG Airsoft Rifle is typical of most AEG Airsfot rifles as it is essentially an off trigger that completes a circuit that signals the controller to use what every trigger programming has been setup by the user. What is unique with the Specna Arms SA-FX02 FLEX AEG Airsoft Rifles is the ability for the user to fully program the trigger with various semi and full auto setting, along with an adjustable trigger point and even a pre-cocking adjustment. Specna Arms does give you a plastic card that has all the setting listed to make programing easier.
Accuracy: I have not shot the Specna Arms SA-FX02 FLEX AEG Airsoft Rifle or tested it out so far here in the Sea Can indoor shooting range, so I have no real idea in terms of accuracy or if it is close to the claimed 360 ish fps. I will be making a full dedicated Field Test Shooting Video for it shortly as soon as I am able to. Build Quality: The Specna Arms SA-FX02 FLEX AEG Airsoft Rifle is made to be a light weight and easy to cary Airsoft Rifle that will not break the bank, but still includes a lot of higher grade materials and parts internally like a Metal V2 Gearbox and MOSFET ETU. The outer skin is mostly plastic but it is fiber reenforced for added durability. You do get a 6.03mm precision inner barrel for increased accuracy along with other metal parts like the Picatinny Rails, Charging Handle, Bolt Release, Flash Hider, Assorted Pins, Rings and Screws.
Realism: The Specna Arms SA-FX02 FLEX AEG Airsoft Rifle is built around an AR-15 (AR-9) based submachine gun (SMG). It is not built as a replica of any specific real steel model, but in terms of size and controls it operates much the same. It is lighter weight since the outer construction incorporates a lot of plastic but it still comes in at a decent weight for an SMG Airsoft Rifle.

Well it is priced so someone getting into the hobby can afford it and see if this is something they might be interested in pursuing. Often times a first Airsoft Gun when priced lower is going to have a lot of compromises that can affect performance and use. With the Specna Arms SA-FX02 FLEX AEG Airsoft Rifle, this is not the case. So why would a more advanced user want something like this? Maybe they have already invested a ton of money into their primary weapon, but want something a bit different, or even something they can beat up a bit and not feel bad about it. But they still want an Airsoft Rifle that performs. Well the Specna Arms SA-FX02 FLEX AEG Airsoft Rifle kinda checks all those boxes. Back in 2017 I made “Which Beretta Airgun is the Best” Video and showed off some 4.5mm Steel BB and .177 Caliber Pellet versions of my favorite Beretta 92 - M9 style Air Pistols. There have been some changes since then most noticeably the addition to Airsoft versions so I thought I would update this video with more current Beretta Airguns along with of course some of the same ones form my last video.

.177 Caliber Pellet Beretta 92 -M9 CO2 Air Pistols
In this Replica Airguns Vimeo Field Test Shooting Video I put the KWC / Umarex Mod. 92 A1 andElite Force 1911 TAC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistols through my Indoor Sea Can Shooting Test. Fist I find out what the real world velocity is by placing 5 rounds through my Chronograph and average out the FPS. I then shoot 10 rounds on a paper target for 30 feet back using a semi rested shooting position, sand bag up front and seated in the back.
Starting with my velocity test for both CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistols I made sure to use a brand new CO2 along with .25 gram Airsoft BB’s so a bit heavier than what was used for the official stats. Both Umarex Airsoft Pistols shot really similar velocities with the Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 averaging 364 FPS and the Umarex Elite Force 1911 TAC averaging 365 FPS. If I had been using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s I am sure these numbers would have been closer to the claimed 400 or so FPS.
Moving on to the accuracy test again I performed this test which each Umarex CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol. The Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 performed a little bit better than the 1911 with all 10 shots grouping within 1.5 inches and very well centered on the target. The Umarex Elite Force 1911 TAC did have a slightly wider grouping closer to 2 inches and was a lilt bit high on the target but center nicely left to right. Of course the full auto mode on the Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 did not produce anything even close to a tight group but it is always fun shooting in full auto :)
All in all both of these KWC / Umarex CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistols performed well for me in terms of meeting their expectations for velocity and accuracy. We have them in our online Replica Airguns Stores in either KWC Unlicensed or Umarex Licensed versions so take your pick!

The Barra Barra Schofield CO2 BB Revolver is a replica of the Schofield No. 3 single action revolver and utilizes 6 reloadable shells for a very realistic shooting experience. It is very solid in construction bing made mostly out of metal and weighs in at around 2.4 pounds. This version shots 4.5 mm Steel BBs at a velocity of up to 400 fps. Next up from Umarex is the fully licensed Beretta Pietro Mod. 92 A1 CO2 Blowback Semi and Full Auto Airsoft Pistol, this product is distributed by Umarex but is made by KWC. Another solid metal pistol with a hefty 2.4 pound weigth that holds 21 rounds in its full size drop out metal magazine and offers both semi and full auto shooting at the flick of a switch!
Again from Umarex I showcase the Elite Force 1911 Tac CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol and like the Beretta Pietro it too is made in the KWC factory for Umarex. The 1911 Tac as the name suggest is a tactical version of the standard Colt 1911 but with some upgrades like a skeletonized hammer and trigger along with an ambidextrous safety, white dot sights front and back and a picatinny rail on the frame for add ons. You can expect velocity to be somewhere in the 400 fps range and the full size drop out metal magazine holds 15 Airsoft BB’s.
In this Preview Update Video three newer products, two Umarex Airsoft CO2 Blowback Pistols and one CO2 Blowback BB Pistol from Crosman. This is far from a full review which I will remaking for all of these Airguns in the near future. I simply go over some of the main specifications and show you quickly around each Airgun.
First off make sure to checkout my Table top review for the G&G GPM92 Beretta Mod. 92FS GBB Airsoft Pistol, it really is a nice Beretta Airsoft copy, perhaps one of the best out there!
In the Field Test Shooting Video I perform my standard Chronograph and accuracy tests on the G&G GPM92 Beretta Mod. 92FS GBB Airsoft Pistol. I put 5 rounds through my Chrony Chronograph using .20 gram plastic Airsoft BB's with a full propane filled magazine. My Sea Can indoor airgun range was warmed up sufficiently for a gas gun test but I found the G&G GPM92 Beretta Mod. 92FS GBB Airsoft Pistol did shoot a tad bit slower than the 330 or so claimed fps coming in closer to 300fps. Still totally usable for indoor airgun wars.
Moving onto my accuracy test I placed 10 shots on target 30 feet down range using a rested shooting position, sitting in the back and sand bag up front. This time I was impressed with how tight a group I got, I was able to get the bulk of the shots all within about three quarters of an inch with only two shots hitting just a little outside of this. I did notice the G&G GPM92 Beretta Mod. 92FS GBB Airsoft Pistol was shooting a bit low for me but that can be easily corrected by adjusting the the internal hop-up to raise the shot placement up as required.
The G&G GPM92 Beretta Mod. 92FS GBB Airsoft Pistol has a somewhat relaxed blowback but has plenty to give some recoil feel. You will get at least a full 27 round magazines worth of shots from each gas fill, perhaps even two if you stretch out your shooting a bit.
In this comparison video I look at a variety of different Beretta 92/Taurus PT92 Airguns and compare them to each other to determine which one I feel is the best Beretta/Taurus Airgun. Keep in mind what's best in for me may not be best for you.
Last summer I made some "Full Auto Fun" videos and well... I had a lot of fun making them and of course shooting the full auto airguns. So I got to thinking I should make some more Full Auto Fun videos again this summer, at least for some of the new Full Auto guns I have not made these videos for yet.
So to kick it off, I brought out my Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 CO2 BB Pistol and shot up some clay pigeons and water filled cans in Full Auto Mode of course :)
In this Field Test Shooting video I take out my Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 CO2 Blowback 4.5mm BB Pistol and place five shots through my Chrony Chronograph to find out what the real word velocity performance will be and I also test the accuracy of the Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 CO2 Blowback 4.5mm BB Pistol by shooting ten rounds down range at a paper target from 30 feet back using a semi rested shooting position(Gun rested on a sandbag, standing in the back). I also include some slow motion video of the Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 blowback action close up in both semi auto and full auto modes.
For the Feet Per Second portion of my test I used a brand new CO2 along with 5.1 grain RWS nickel coated 4.5mm Steel BB's. The temperature outside was 15 degrees Celsius (59 Fahrenheit), so not super warm or cold, I would expect a little higher fps on a warmed day. Umarex claims a velocity of 310 fps, I was able to get a five shot average of 322 which was nice to see a higher than claimed fps for the Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 CO2 Blowback 4.5mm BB Pistol.
Moving on to the Accuracy portion of my Field Test, I was able to get all 10 shots within a 2 inch grouping, not bad for a heavy blowback BB pistol. I did notice the shots where a little low and to the right so some shot placement adjustments may be required depending on your shooting range since the sights on the Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 CO2 Blowback 4.5mm BB Pistol are non-adjustable. The blowback action is nice and strong and the trigger is also very typical to what you would find on a Beretta M92. Shooting in full auto mode is a lot of fun and really gets your hand rocking. You should be able to get around 4 magazines in semi auto shooting mode and closer to 3 magazine in full auto shooting mode.

FPS: 310.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 BB Pistol is like what you would expect from a real Beretta 92 A1, it offers both single and double action but most of the time you will be shooting in single action since the blowback cocks the hammer after each shot. Single action has a little bit of take-up but has a predictable release that is not overly light or heavy. Double action shots are longer and heavier which is as expected.
Accuracy: I have not shot this "version" of the Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 but it will undoubtedly perform very similar to the many other full blowback CO2 pistols I have tested like the KWC and Cybgergun M92's, 1911's and Sigs. I did notice the slide spring on the Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 CO2 Blowback 4.5mm BB Pistol to be very firm so I am expecting it to have pretty good blowback action. One other consideration is this CO2 airguns offers both semi and full auto shooting options but with the heavy blowback, don't expect much accuracy when shooting in full auto mode :)
Build Quality: Very good, with almost all metal construction, good weight and craftsmanship. Don't quote me on this but I have a feeling the Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 CO2 Blowback 4.5mm BB Pistol may be made by KWC, if this is the case then we know to expect the same quality as we have found with other KWC full blowback airguns which is pretty good overall. There may be some wear in the high spots of the finish over time but I kind of like this since it gives the gun a more realistic look.
Realism: This is by far the closest Beretta Model 92 out there, even the magazine butt plate looks the part, the safety is true to form and it is full licensed and trademarked throughout the gun via Umarex. I'm not sure if the real steal Umarex ever offered full auto or not but we can look past this for the sake of how much fun it is going to be shooting in full auto! The only negative aspect in terms of realism is the white warning writing on the left side of the slide.

I know the KWC M92 and Cybergun GSG 92 have been out for a while and the Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 CO2 Blowback 4.5mm BB Pistol is along the same lines, but I do like that it is a true Beretta Replica rather than the Taurus copy. I like that Umarex went the extra mile and made the magazine look the part with a much shorter butt plate and adding semi and full auto right out of the box with a dedicated selector switch is pretty cool too. I am really looking forward to testing this gun out and seeing how the blowback action combined with the full auto ability is going to recoil, I have a feeling it's going to kick like a mule!
