Trigger Pull: The trigger on the Umarex EBOS is electronic so it does not have any real distinct break point or resistance to it. It is essentially a switch that actives a motor and the motor operates the CO2 valve. It works very well and even in single fire mode you can fire very quickly, almost as fast as when shooting in 500 rounds per minute mode but with a lot more effort from the user!
Accuracy: I shot this CO2 BB Machine gun at a target from 30 feet away using my EOTech Styled Red-Green Dot Tactical Scope in a semi rested standing position, and it performed excellent getting a little over a 1 inch grouping fairly centered on target. I also performed my accuracy test in full auto 8 round burst mode and although the grouping did get a bit larger, the EBOS still stayed well on target. I decided to use a partially used 88 gram CO2 cartridge to see what the EBOS could do in a very real world Feet Per Second test and I was able to get a 481 fps average 8 shot result which was very good considering I was well into the CO2 tank at that point. On a brand new CO2 cartridge, attaining the maximum claimed fps rating is very achievable.
Build Quality: The EBOS is an almost all external polymer air gun with some metal components on the inside. For the most part it feels solid and has good weight especially when you load up the 88 gram CO2 tank and slap on a Red Dot and a couple other accessories. Everything seemed to operate as you would expect and I especially liked the easy access to the CO2 and well designed rear stock which conceals the CO2 cartridge very nicely. My only concern with the EBOS is the front barrel which protrudes out from the EBOS a bit and because it is made of plastic, it may be prone to breakage in the event of a drop directly onto the barrel.
Realism: The Umarex EBOS BB machine gun doesn't closely look like any specific Tactical rifle, but does have that very assault rifle look to it. It almost looks to me like something from a Science Fiction movie!
The all plastic exterior may put off some people looking for a heavier more metal gun.
88 Gram CO2 can be a bit pricy, not as cost effective as 12 gram CO2.
The rear sight was way to wide - it is the first thing to replace or upgrade.
The plastic barrel worries me just a bit in the event of a fall?

The Umarex EBOS is a really - really fun BB gun! That should almost be enough right there to buy it on the spot as it's not all that expensive all thing considered! The EBOS has a lot going for it, nice high up to 540 fps velocities, very good accuracy for a BB shooter even in full auto mode, a high capacity CO2 and BB feeding system, versatile shooting selection (1-4-8 shot burst) and (300-400-500 rounds per minute), the ability to add accessories top and bottom and a price tag that is very reasonable. Unfortunately this Umarex product is not that readily available here in Canada because the scary 540 FPS rating on the box, but for you non-Canadians, you're in luck so make sure to think about us Canucks when your spraying BB's with the Umarex EBOS.

The Cybergun Mini UZI has been a really popular Blowback BB gun with the most realistic Blowback recoil available. This UZI replica looks, feels sand shoots just like the real 9mm Mini UZI and has lots of metal on it giving it close to a 5 pound weight. It comes out of the box as a semi auto CO2 driven Air gun but can be easily converted to full auto if so desired - check out this link for the details on converting it to full auto. My recently acquired (Thanks UmarexUSA) Umaerx EBOS CO2 BB Machine Gun was just screaming for some add-ons and to be honest the first thing that I noticed was the open sights really needed upgrading. Luckily the rear sight is removable allowing you to mount just about any type of Red Dot Scope or sighting system you want, just make sure it is high enough to see up and over the front BB hopper.
I finished off the look with an unobtrusive Tactical Rail Mount Flashlight. All in all I think I spent about as much if not more on accessories for this gun as it is worth to buy :)
I hope to review the EBOS sometime next week. Basically the Umarex EBOS is a CO2 powered 1-4-8 shot burst machine gun that uses an electrically powered trigger system in conjunction with an 88 gram CO2 Power-source to hurl BB's at just over 500 FPS downrange. Should be fun!

The EKOL ASI is a very nice semi and full auto front firing 9mm P.A.K blank machine gun made by EKOL. It features an internal metal chassis with an external polymer shell. This well built blank machine gun comes with a 15 and 25 round magazine and has selectable semi or full auto firing modes and comes with a flare adaptor.
The Webley Alecto (AKA: Zoraki HP-01) may not fit in exactly as a "Replica" Airgun, although it does resemble a bloated Dessert Eagle! But it is an Airgun worthy of spending some time reviewing an this is now my third Vimeo Video review for the Webley Alecto. My first Video Review was a Table Top Review where I covered most of the Webley's basic operation. My second Vimeo Video was a Chronograph Test to see what my Webley Alecto could do performance wise for FPS.
I really wanted to do a video of this gun just shooting because that's what it does best, put lead down range very accurately! So I setup three cameras to capture it all from just about every angle I could think of and I set up 30 feet away from my target and shot 5 rounds in a rested position using a Red Dot Scope. The results where not surprising - pretty close to a 1/2 inch grouping!
If you're looking for a compact, hard hitting, accurate target or small pest control Air gun then look no further, the Webley Alecto has the goods!

! This is one of the first serious consumer based BB Machine guns made and if you have never seen one in action you need to do so right now! This Russian made Full Auto BB Gun is capable of firing up to 600 rounds per minute and 6 round bursts. Keep in mind that modification chips for this BB shooter are easy to find and make it a 1200 round per minute true full auto shredder.
This well made CO2 4.5mm BB air gun uses a very durable polymer and metal design and takes advantage of an electrically activated trigger for precise aim and consistency.
I've already made a couple of video reviews on the Steel Storm, one Table Top Review and one Field Test. These where done a while back when I first started things off and since then I've added a lot more gadgets and information to my reviews, so I wanted to revisit the Steel Storm and do a Chronograph test and Target shooting test for the Umarex Steel Storm Machine gun.
I was not surprised to see the Steel Storm perform very well in my testing, this is a wonderfully fun and inexpensive BB machine gun with decent power, accuracy, blow back action and full auto burst ability. What more do you need?

Another filed test video in the series. This one is of the Umarex Walther PPK/S CO2 4.5mm BB pistol, I show you both my regular unmodified all black PPK/S and shoot it through my Chrony Chronograph with an averaged reading of 282 FPS, not bad considering the manufacturers claim is 295.
I also shoot 8 rounds with my stock Umarex PPK/S at a target to see what kind of accuracy I get, and just for fun I shoot a 15 round magazine into the same target with my modified fully-auto sliver slided PPK/S.
To finish things up, I slowdown the action just a bit using my high speed Casio camera to capture the blowback action of both my stock and modified Umarex Walther PPK's.

First off, you may have noticed this Henry Lever Action Rimfire .22 Caliber Rifle is not an airgun or a blank gun! So why am I reviewing it? This isn't going to be a review as much as it's going to be an overview.
I just really wanted to share this awesome little .22 caliber rimfire shooter with you because if you're like me then you may also appreciate the Henry Lever Action Rimfire .22 Caliber Rifle like I do. One reason I like airguns is because they are generally lower cost to purchase and lower cost to shoot then your average powder burner. My Henry .22 only set me back $269 and I have probably paid more for some of my airguns so this was not to bad on the pocket book. Another bonus is I can shoot this gun all day long because .22 caliber rimfire ammo is about 1/10th or less the cost of regular powder based ammo. I can buy a box of 500+ shells for under $20!
When purchasing a rimfire .22 caliber gun, you have to also consider what ammunition you are going to be using as not all rimfire .22 caliber guns will shoot all types of .22 caliber ammo. You can get .22 rimfire ammunition in "Long Rifle", "Long", "Short" and even "Buckshot". Keep in mind that not all .22 caliber guns will operate properly with all kinds of .22 caliber rimfire ammo. For instance, autoloaders generally require the "Long Rifle" ammunition to cycle properly. What I love about the Henry Lever Action Rimfire .22 is that it can shoot pretty much any .22 caliber rimfire ammunition you through at it except for the magnum loads which is a totally different gun altogether.
Another bonus to using the .22 caliber short ammo is that it is about as loud as a standard airgun, at least when using a rifle. So if you don't want to draw attention to yourself then pickup some shorts and plink away! Depending on what manufacturer of shorts you purchase they tend to shoot in the 700-1000 FPS using around a 20-30 grain bullet, so they are still perfectly good for small pest control. Just make sure to keep in mind what is beyond your target as a 20-30 grain bullet will penetrate objects and travel farther then a much lighter .22 caliber pellet even traveling at the same speed.

As promised, here is my Vimeo video Chronograph test along with some more shots on target for an idea on the accuracy for the Cybergun GSG 92 Beretta 92FS copy.
My Chronograph results where very good with an average 8 shot FPS result of 314, right in line with the manufacturers specifications! I also took some extra time to do some more target testing and shot the GSG 92 BB shooter at a target from 20 feet out in a free standing position and I didn't get the best grouping from it today but hey, it's got full auto too so how important is accuracy?
Lastly a pulled out my Casio high-speed camera and took some video of the blowback action of the Cybergun GSG 92FS Beretta replica at 210 frames per second.

I already have a customized full auto Drozd Blackbird who can pass up another Dorzd when the price is right! I will be making a double Drozd video down the road :)
My new Classic Drozd came with the Full Auto mod chip, the JimC hand made barrel, a 68ci Nitro Duck 4500 PSI carbon fiber tank and bulk air hose.
I also got the Red Dot scope with my new purchase but used one of my rial risers that fit perfectly giving my new Drozd an AR look to it.
In my recent acquisition of guns from my friend, I also procured a customized Crosman 2240 .22 caliber CO2 bolt action air pistol. It came customized with a new RJ Machine bolt, longer barrel and wood grips.
All I need to add is a nice Red Dot or low powered pistol scope and this classic CO2 air pistol will make a really nice target shooter.
I purchased a bunch of "near new" air guns from a friend of mine last week who was't using them anymore and thought I could put them to better use. I was happy to oblige!
I already have the Crosman Quest 800 Break Barrel .22 caliber rifle for my pest control but you can always use one with more power! The break barrel Benjamin Sheridan Super Streak in .22 caliber is rated at up to 1000 fps and it is a real beast of an air gun to say the least. It came with a nice 4-16-40mm scope and I added an NCStar bi-pod to it to help distribute some of the weight.
I sighted it in at about 50 feet and was able to get about a nice 1 inch grouping with it from a rested position. I am looking forward to using this gun when my fruit trees start producing.
Another very popular EKOL Blank gun just made it into the Replica Airgun Store, and this one has selectable Full Auto! The EKOL Jackal Dual looks like the EKOL Firat and both of them look like the popular Beretta 92FS semi auto pistol.
When I got my EKOl Firat a while back with a bunch of other fine EKOL products, I decided to not do a full review on it as it is essentially the same gun as my EKOL Jackal. Well, the people have spoken and I have given into the pressure and made a short comparison video on the differences between the EKOL Jackal and the EKOL Firat.
The Blank EKOL guns in this video are represented in both the Magnum (EKOL Jackal) and Compact (EKOL Firat) sizes which will also help you get an idea of the size difference when ordering as both guns can be purchased in Magnum and Compact versions.
Here are the main differences:
The EKOL Jackal can shoot in both semi auto and full auto while the EKOL Firat is semi auto only.
The EKOL Jackal's rear safety is non-functioning for all intents and purposes as the semi-full auto selector switch is also used as a safety switch. The EKOL Firat uses the rear safety as its safety and it is fully functional.
The EKOL Firat can be shot in single action or double action mode while the EKOL Jackal is a single action only gun meaning you have to either cock the hammer or rack the slide to shoot the first round in this gun. (Once the first shot is fired the blowback of the slide will automatically re-cock the action for you)
The EKOL Firat is about $60 less expensive as it does not have the full auto feature.
