EMG TTI Pit Viper JW4 2011 GBB CO2 Airsoft Pistol Table Top Review.

Type: GBB Airsoft Pistol.
Manufacturer: Made by EMG.
Model: TTI JW4 2011 Pit Viper.
Materials: Aluminum & polymer components.
Weight: 2.26 pounds (1025 grams).
Length: 8.5 inches (2167mm).
Propulsion: CO2/Green gas.
Action: Semi auto blowback, single action only trigger.
Ammunition Type: 6mm plastic Airsoft BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 28-30 round drop out full size metal magazine.
FPS: Claimed 370-390.

Trigger Pull: The single action only trigger pull on the EMG TTI Pit Viper JW4 2011 GBB CO2 Airsoft Pistol is really great, there is virtually zero take-up with a light, crisp and easy release. You can double tap with ease making the EMG TTI STI 2011 Combat Master a great action pistol. One of the shortest and smoothest 1911 triggers I have tested, similar to the EMG TTI JW3 Combat Master.

Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the EMG TTI Pit Viper JW4 2011 GBB CO2 Airsoft Pistol so I have no idea what the actual real world fps is going to be and how accurate it proves itself so my comments for this part of the review will have to wait till I perform my Field Test Shooting Video coming up shortly. I do however expect it to perform very close to the EMG TTI STI 2011 Combat Master I already made a Field test Video Review for so you can check that on out in the mean time…

Build Quality: The EMG TTI Pit Viper JW4 2011 GBB CO2 Airsoft Pistol is for the most part an all metal gun with a CNC Machined Aluminum Slide and aluminum barrel along with mostly metal parts throughout including much of the frame. Parts of the frame are polymer including the grip area and trigger guard. The fit and finish is awesome on the EMG TTI Pit Viper JW4 2011 GBB CO2 Airsoft Pistol with attention to detail everywhere.

Realism: The EMG TTI Pit Viper JW4 2011 GBB CO2 Airsoft Pistol is based off of the Pit Viper TTI, a replica of the John Wick pistol used in the John Wick 4 movie and is virtually the spitting image to it. You will find licensing and trademarks where you would find them on the real steel version. Of course all the mechanical parts work like the real version and the EMG TTI STI 2011 Combat Master can be fully field stripped allowing for quick and easy hop-up adjustments.

Pros:

  • Super crisp, light and short SAO trigger.

  • Fit and finish is excellent, very little slide wiggle.

  • extremely close replica of the Pit Viper 2011 pistol used in the John Wick 4 movie.

  • Rear sight is fully adjustable and sits very flush with the slide.

  • Fiber optic front sight helps with quick targets acquisition.

  • CNC machined Aluminum slide and barrel with polymer frame.

  • Flared magwell for easy quick magazine reloading.

  • Full size high capacity 30 round double stack metal magazine.

  • Ambidextrous thumb safeties.

  • Working grip safety as you would expect on a 1911 based gun.

  • Most Mechanical parts work just like a steel version and can be easily field stripped to access hop-up.

  • Nice snappy and fast blowback action, great for action shooting.

  • Licensing all over this gun true to the real steel version.

Cons:

  • Comes with the red tip but can be remove pretty easily.

  • Getting magazine but plate off is a bit tuff.

  • No white dot’s or fiber optics in the rear sight.

Comments:

The EMG TTI Pit Viper JW4 2011 GBB CO2 Airsoft Pistol is another great Replica of a John Wick pistol and has a less squared and smaller stature than the EMG Combat Master and a smoother overall look to it. What’s nice is that the magazines are interchangeable between the EMG TTI JW3 and JW4 versions so if you already have one then you will get additional magazine options, perhaps one in Green Gas and one in CO2. I like the slightly bulkier feel to the Combat Master but the Pit Viper is also a decent size, but again slightly more compact and less edges to get caught on your surroundings. Either way, both are awesome options if you are John Wick fan.

KWA M1911A1 GBB Airsoft Pistol Field Test Review

In this Field Test Shooting Video Review I test out the performance of the KWA M1911A1 GBB Airsoft Pistol to find out exactly what kind of power to expect and to see what kind of accuracy we can get shooting at a paper target 30 feet down range. if you are interested in some more closeup shots and perhaps information and features than checkout my KWA M1911A1 GBB Airsoft Pistol Table Top Review Video.

Starting off with the feet per second performance, I placed 6 shots through my Chronograph using a full propane filled magazine with .20 gram Plastic Airsoft BB’s. They all shot between 343 and 346 fps which was extremely consistent for a gas blowback Airsoft pistol. The average was 345 fps which was pretty decent for just below room temperature shooting.

Moving onto the Target accuracy portion of my Filed Test Shooting Video I first setup a brand new paper target 30 feet down range and proceeded to place 10 well placed shots into it. I did not adjust the hop-up since I wanted to get an out of the box shooting experience. I was abel to get a fairly tight 10 shot grouping of right around 3 inches. I did shoot just a bit to the left and slightly low to the the bullseye but not too far off. There are no sight adjustment on this Airsoft Pistol so windage adjustments are going to have to be made using aim point. I could adjust the hop-up to accommodate for elevation and bring the accuracy up as needed.

Overall I was very pleased with the KWA M1911A1 GBB Airsoft Pistol, it shot pretty hard for a non-CO2 GBB Airsoft pistol and also did not let me down in the accuracy department either. I did notice that the slide was not locking back for me when the magazine was out of ammo, this may be due to the fact that the KWA M1911A1 GBB Airsoft Pistol has such tight slide and frame tolerances. Perhaps a little more break in time is required or a touch of lubricant on the slide raise will make the slide cycle a bit more freely. Even so the KWA M1911A1 GBB Airsoft Pistol is a really nice 1911 A1 Airsoft gun that just feels great to shoot.

KWA M1911A1 GBB Airsoft Pistol Table Top Review

Type: 6mm Plastic BB Airsoft Pistols.
Manufacturer: KWA.
Model: KWA M1911A1
Materials: Metal slide, metal frame.
Weight: 2.14 pounds (970 grams).
Barrel: Metal non-rifled smooth bore.
Propulsion: Green gas, Propane.
Action: Blowback, Single action only.
Ammunition Type: 6mm plastic Airsoft BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 21 rounds.
FPS: Up to 360fps.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KWA M1911A1 GBB Airsoft Pistol is right on par with what you would get from a quality 1911 single action only trigger, it has very little take up with a smooth crisp and very light light release. The grip safety si functional like a real 1911 also so it will needed to be engaged with your hand in order for the trigger to function.

Accuracy: I have not shot the KWA M1911A1 GBB Airsoft Pistol so far but plan to do so this week so I can have my Full Field Test Shooting Video Review for you ASAP. Keep posted as I this is next on my list!

Build Quality: KWA in my opinion makes some of the highest quality Airsoft guns in the industry in their given price range which I would say is about mid point. The KWA M1911A1 GBB Airsoft Pistol is an all metal (Alloy) Airsoft gun with nice finishing and extremely tight fit. The slide has virtually no wiggle and was needed just a little bit of work in to get it operating properly, perhaps the is why a small bottle of lubricant comes with the KWA M1911A1 GBB Airsoft Pistol. After a few shots everything worked nice and smoothly.

Realism: The KWA M1911A1 GBB Airsoft Pistol is a replica of a standard 1911 A1 Military 45 Auto and is a great looking and functioning replica. You will not find actual Colt or other manufacturer licensing other than the wording “M1911A1 Autoloading Pistol” own the left side of the slide. The version I received did have a slightly elongated barrel to allow for the addition of a red painted tip, Future orders may not have this I am hoping but even if yours is the same as mine you can easily cut down the barrel and or paint over the red portion of the tip. We also offer replacement barrels in our online Canada and US Replica Airguns Store.

Available in the: Replica Airguns Store

Pros:

  • Mostly All Metal design.

  • Fit and finish is excellent.

  • All metal magazine is as close as you’re going to get to a real 1911 magazine,

  • Very authentic 1911 A1 design.

  • SAO trigger feels great, super light trigger pull.

  • Working grip safety as you would expect.

  • All mechanical parts work just like there pal steel 1911 A1 version.

  • Comes with barrel bushing tool.

  • Magazine follower locks down for easy loading.

Cons:

  • Has elongated barrel with orange painted markings.

  • Rear sight is fixed so no adjusting with this model.

  • Will have to top up the green gas or propane with every Airsoft BB reload.

Comments:

Out of all the 1911’s on the market I have to say I like the good old fashioned simple design of the classic M1911 A1. No real bells and whistles on it and I like it that way. The KWA M1911A1 GBB Airsoft Pistol has also got to be one of the best made 1911’s in terms of fit and finish, the slide and frame tolerances are super tight with virtually no play or wiggle at all and the trigger is so nice and light. I just need to test it out and see how well it shoots now which I will be doing very soon so keep posted.

KJWorks KP-08 CO2 Airsoft Pistol Field Test Review

As promised this week, here is my full Field Test Shooting Video for the KJWorks KP-08 CO2 Airsoft Pistol. Make sure to watch my Table Top Review of the KJWorks KP-08 CO2 Airsoft Pistol if you’re looking for more details and specifications along with closeup video.

Starting with finding out the raw real world power for the KJWorks KP-08 CO2 Airsoft Pistol, I performed the Chronograph Test using my CaldwellBallistic Precision Chronograph and put 6 shots through it using a brand new 12 gram CO2 along with .20 gram plastic Airsoft BB’s. I was able to average 350 fps which is pretty decent considering it was only around 15 degrees Celsius (60 degrees Fahrenheit). In warmer summer conditions I am sure we would easily reach around 360-370+fps.

Next up I placed a paper target on my ammo trap 30 feet down range and shot off 10 steady paced rounds to see what kind of grouping I could get from the KJWorks KP-08 CO2 Airsoft Pistol. There is always going to be a bit of human factor involved since my Airguns are not braced in a vice or hold of any kind other than my two handed rested grip. (Sandbag upfront, sitting on a stool in the back). I was pleased to see a roughly 3 inch grouping on the target. There was one BB that did shoot a little bit higher then the rest of the grouping otherwise it would have been closer to a 2 inch grouping. I di notice that I was shooting a bit under the bullseye but this could are easily rectified by adjusting the hope slightly to add some more backspin to the Airsoft BB.

All in all I really like the KJWorks KP-08 CO2 Airsoft Pistol, it looks great, is well built, is not going to come in super heavy and seems to perform very well in terms of power and accuracy. I have always been a fan of the 1911 pistol and I like that KJWORKS didn’t deviate too much form the original A1 look and feel with this slightly more tactical version. It still looks and feels like a classic 1911 but is upgraded enough to keep the weight down while adding in a double stack styled magazine with more overall tactical features.

KJWORKS KP-08 CO2 Airsoft Pistol Table Top Review

Type: 6mm Plastic BB Airsoft Pistols.
Manufacturer: KJWORKS.
Model: KP-08 (1911 Replica)
Materials: Metal slide, polymer frame.
Weight: 2 pounds (931 grams).
Barrel: Metal non-rifled smooth bore.
Propulsion: 12 gram CO2.
Action: Blowback, Single action only.
Ammunition Type: 6mm plastic Airsoft BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 28 rounds.
FPS: 360+ fps.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KJWORKS KP-08 CO2 Airsoft Pistol is what you would expect from a true 1911 single action only trigger, it has very little take up with a smooth crisp and light release to it The grip safety like a real 1911 also works on the KJWORKS KP-08 so it will needed to be engage in order for the trigger to function.

Accuracy: I have not shot the KJWORKS KP-08 CO2 Airsoft Pistol so far but plan to do so this week so I can have my Full Field Test Shooting Video Review for you ASAP. Keep posted as I this is next on my list!

Build Quality: I have always been extremely impressed with the build quality of all the KJWORKS Airsoft guns to date. The fit and finish is the best around compared with any of my airguns including my 4.5mm steel BB shooters. I would say KJWORKS and KWA Airsoft Guns are comparable in terms of build quality, fit and finish so it’s great we now offer both brands for you to choose from.

Realism: The KJWORKS KP-08 CO2 Airsoft Pistol is a replica of a High Capacity styled tactical 1911 45 Auto and is a great looking and functioning replica. You will not find actual Colt or other manufacturer licensing other than KJWORKS on this pistol and the CO2 magazine does stick out a bit to accommodate the 12 gram CO2 but other than that this Airsoft pistol looks and works near exactly like a real 1911 tactical 45 semi auto and is fully field strip-able. I really like the updated more tactical add ons like the tactical rail, machined trigger and hammer, white dot adjustable sights, and much lighter polymer frame that helps keep the overall gun weight down to around 2 pounds.

Available in the: Replica Airguns Store

Pros:

  • Metal parts where you need them, polymer frame to keep it lighter weight.

  • Heavy Full blowback operation.

  • Excellent fit and finish as always with KJWorks pistols.

  • High capacity full size drop out magazine that holds 28 rounds.

  • Versatile magazine options, also works with Marui Hi-Capa Magazines.

  • Easy to see white dot sights and adjustable for windage rear sight.

  • All working components like the real steel 1911.

  • Clean looking but still has that tactical quality about it.

  • Field strip-able.

Cons:

  • Grips are wider than a typical single stack 1911, may not fit the hands of small shooters.

  • No ambidextrous safety, not a problem for right handed shooters but lefties would benefit from this.

Comments:

The KJWORKS KP-08 CO2 Airsoft Pistol is KJWORKS first Airsoft pistol with a polymer frame. It’s also very versatile in that you can use KJWORKS KP-05 magazines and even High-Capa Marui Mags if you won them. The red internal gas tube allows you to use pretty much any type of magazine too which means Green gas, propane and CO2 are all good to go with the KJWORKS KP-08 CO2 Airsoft Pistol! The polymer frame really helps keep what would normally be a rather heavy Airsoft pistol a bit bit more light weigth and field friendly but you still have all the perks of a High-Capa 1911 so it’s a win win for me.

KJWorks KP-11 Hi-Capa 1911 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol Table Top Review

Type: Blowback Airsoft Pistol.

Manufacturer:KJWORKS.

Model:KP-11 M1911 Hi-Capa

Materials: Metal slide with Polymer frame.

Weight: 2 pounds (930 grams).

Barrel: Metalnon-rifled smooth bore.

Propulsion: 12 gram CO2.

Action: Blowback, Single action only.

Ammunition Type: 6mm plastic Airsoft BB's.

Ammunition Capacity: 28 rounds.

FPS: 360+ fps.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KJWorks KP-11 1911 is very good since it is modeled after a real steel 1911 which makes it short and crisp with a nice light trigger pull. There is a very slight take-up at the very beginning of the pull but once your get past this the release is crisp and predictable. Since it is not a double action trigger you will need to either rack the slide for your first shot or pull the hammer back if you have already chambered a round.

Accuracy: I have not done my actual Field Test Shooting video review for the KJWorks KP-11 M1911 Airsoft Pistol so I do not have any definitive feedback for you but based on my experiences shooting other KJWorks 1911 styled Airsoft CO2 Pistols I expect it to have great blowback action recoil, a nice trigger and good overall FPS and accuracy. In terms of reliability, KJWorks pistols are solid in this department.

Build Quality: As expected, the KJWorks KP-11 Hi-Capa 1911 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol build quality is exactly like all the other KJWorks Airsoft guns I've tested so far, Build quality for the price point is top notch with tolerances between the moving parts like the slide and frame are extremely tight showing excellent workmanship and machining from KJWorks. The finish is always a step above other similar styled Airsoft and BB guns, youn really don't have to worry about the finish coming of as easy.

Realism: The KJWorks CO2 KP-11 Hi-Capa 1911 Blowback Airsoft Pistol copies the real steel very popular even today Colt 1911 45 caliber pistol, it can be field stripped very similarly to a real 1911 Semi Auto pistol and all parts function virtually the same including a working safety, grip safety, slide catch-release, magazine release and hammer. This Hi-Capa version has a more tactical look with a wider frame for what would be a double stack hi capacity styled magazine.

Available in the:Replica Airguns Store

Pros:

  • Has really good weight but not too heavy since it has a polymer frame..

  • Expect to have typical KJWorks crisp and firm full blowback operation.

  • Excellent fit and finish. I like the mat textured finish which looks to bed super durable.

  • Nice bright white dot sights, really easy to see.

  • I like the look of the tactical hammer and trigger.

  • Nice high capacity magazine with a little extra zing for the CO2 Mag.

  • Fully field strip-able.

Cons:

  • Is not really setup up for left handers with no real ambidextrous components.

  • CO2 magazine is long to accommodate the 12 gram CO2.

  • Grips may be a bit thick for smaller hands.

Comments:

I love 1911 pistols and enjoy shooting them, there is something about how they feel in the hand that is different form most other pistols. They always feel so solid. The KJWorks Airsoft versions capture that feeling exactly and again the little bit more you may pay for a KJWorks 1911 over some other lesser quality Full blowback 1911's is worth the cost in my books. This Hi-Capa 1911 version with it's tactical look and finish would make a great game player for sure!
