If you are watching this on YouTube, then you probably already know the news, we are finally back on YouTube. However, a lot of our long-time viewers may not be aware of this yet, so if you have the opportunity to help spread the word, it would really mean a lot to us.

What Happened to Our Original YouTube Channel

Several years ago our original YouTube channel was suddenly terminated due to what YouTube described as a “counterfeit claim.” Unfortunately, we were never given any clear explanation about what specific video or product triggered the action.

At the time, the Replica Airguns channel had been built over many years and included over 1,000 videos, millions of views, and hundreds of thousands of subscribers. Losing the channel meant losing our entire YouTube audience overnight.

To this day, we still do not know exactly what product or video led to the termination. Replica Airguns does not sell counterfeit products. All of the airguns and replicas we review and sell come from legitimate manufacturers such as:

• Umarex

• ASG

• Crosman

• SIG Sauer

• and other major licensed manufacturers

These companies produce officially licensed replica versions of real firearms, which is why they look authentic. The difference is that they shoot BBs, pellets, airsoft, or paintball rounds, not real ammunition.

Unfortunately, once the termination occurred, there was no real way to speak with a person or properly dispute the decision. Like many others at the time in the airgun community, we were caught up in a period when gun-related channels were facing heavy restrictions or removals.

A Fresh Start on YouTube

The good news is that we are rebuilding.

Over the last couple of months I have been gradually uploading our videos back to YouTube. The process is a bit slow since it requires moving videos over individually, but it is working and the library is growing quickly.

So far:

• 800+ videos uploaded

• 1,300+ total videos planned

• 130+ new subscribers

• 10,000+ views and growing

Considering we are essentially starting from scratch again, this is encouraging progress.

Why Uploading Takes Time

Some viewers have asked why all the videos are not already up.

The main reason is that the transfer process from Vimeo to YouTube still requires a bit of manual work. Each video needs to be shared individually, which takes several clicks and some time for page refreshes and processing. Moving around 50 videos can take close to an hour or more, so it is something I do gradually every few days.

The good news is that once a video is sent to YouTube, the rest of the upload and processing happens automatically.

What to Expect

While the archive videos are being uploaded, new videos can sometimes get buried under the older uploads. Once the full library is back online, I will be reorganizing everything into playlists, including:

P226 vs P229 - What’s Different?

These two share the same general operating system (CO2 blowback, DA/SA, rotary-mag that works with pellets/BBs), but the P229 version changes a few important things:

Key Differences

• Size: P229 is shorter (7.7 in) vs P226 (8.25 in).

• Weight: P229 is lighter (35.2 oz / 2.2 lb) vs P226 (~39.1 oz).

• Optics: P229 is optics-ready (SIG AIR reflex mounting provision); P226 platform is typically not.

• Muzzle threads: P229 uses M14x1 CCW (P226 commonly uses a different thread direction/size).

Bottom line: if you liked how the P226 handled and performed, the P229 should feel very familiar, just more compact, with the bonus of being set up for a dot.

The P229 has that classic SIG profile and a very “real pistol” feel in the hand, helped by the mostly-metal build and full weight.

Final Thoughts

The Sig Sauer P229 blowback pellet pistol is a very “SIG-like” training/plinking platform: realistic controls, DA/SA operation, snappy blowback, and a compact duty-pistol footprint. The biggest tabletop takeaway is the optics-ready slide, which makes this version feel more modern than older CO2 pellet pistol designs.

Trigger Pull
The TC68 uses a semi-auto style trigger that feels closer to a single-action pull (it needs to work this way to support full-auto). The break is straightforward and predictable, and it suits the “training marker / utility” role well.

Accuracy

This table top review is focused on features, build, and usability. Accuracy testing and chronograph results are better handled in a field test once ammo weight is confirmed (rubber vs. paintball vs. hard plastic rounds will all change results). Initial “gut feel” shooting suggests the factory setting is already pushing hard for a training marker, with performance feeling consistent with the advertised 16J class.

Build Quality

The TC68 is largely polymer on the outside, but it doesn’t feel like a toy. The weight is substantial, controls feel solid, and the overall package is clearly built for training and repeated handling. You’re getting a robust platform designed to run multiple air sources and a wide range of .68 caliber projectiles without needing a bunch of aftermarket parts just to get started.

Realism / Ergonomics / Controls

Visually and ergonomically the TC68 leans into an AR-style layout:

• AR-style grip geometry (and AR-compatible grip fitment style)

• Full-length Picatinny top rail

• M-LOK on the handguard (sides and bottom) for lights, foregrips, etc.

• Ambidextrous selector (Safe / Semi / Full)

• Ambidextrous magazine release

It does not have real-steel operating controls like a charging handle or functional bolt/dust cover, this is a marker, not a firearm replica mechanism, but from a distance it reads like a modern sporting rifle pattern, which matters for training applications and general “presence.”

Safety systems are layered:

1. A “quick pierce / activation” setup (pressurizes the marker only when you choose)

2. A cross-bolt style safety that controls readiness to fire and can also depressurize when switched back (you’ll hear it vent)

3. Standard safe selector switch position

Air Source Flexibility (CO2 + HPA) and Included Hardware

This is one of the biggest selling points: it ships with a lot of the “bits and pieces” that usually cost extra.

You can run:

• Dual 12g CO2 (the configuration shown in the review)

• 88g CO2 (full-length stock configuration)

• HPA via included adapter (plus an alternate stock option that works well with compact tanks)

The included quick-pierce style setup is practical: you can stage the marker with CO2 installed without continuously bleeding gas, then activate it only when needed.

Feeding Options: Magazine-Fed or Hopper-Fed

Out of the box you get:

• A 20-round spring-assisted magazine designed to load easily (the spring can be held back during loading, then feeds when inserted)

• A hopper adapter system (hopper not included, but the adapter is), letting you run higher-capacity paintball-style feeding for volume use, especially relevant if you pair HPA + full auto

The magazine also supports First Strike–style shaped rounds (magazine-fed only), expanding the use-case options for training and scenario work.

Sights / Optics

No sights are included, no irons, no basics, nothing. That’s the odd omission on an otherwise “complete” kit. Plan on adding:

• a red dot (often easiest), and/or

• irons that sit higher, or a riser setup, depending on your preferred cheek weld and optic height.

Comments

If you want a .68 caliber platform that can legitimately be configured for multiple roles, paintball, training, scenario use, home safety use, the Umarex T4E TC68 stands out because it’s versatile right out of the box. The “complete kit” nature (CO2/HPA readiness + mag and hopper options) is rare at this price point.

The Umarex T4E TC68 is in probably one of the most powerful “Rubber Ball”Airguns you can get here in Canada right now with the ability to even turn it up a notch (at your own discretion). With Canadian legal gun owners losing their rights to own regulated Firearms more and more each day, being able to acquire something that is not regulated may be the best option for non-Firearms Licensed holders and Firearms Licensed holders.

Field test follow-up (chronograph + practical shooting) will matter a lot with this one, because performance varies dramatically with projectile type and weight. That’s where it will be most interesting to quantify real fps and estimated energy across a couple common round types.

I stopped by the Blue Line booth and Connor showed me a line of peppered gel deterrent products they’re hoping to bring into Canada as dog-spray style options (with stronger versions available in the U.S., depending on regulations).

The key difference vs typical pepper spray: these use a jet/propulsion system that fires a more directed stream, designed to reduce blowback and improve placement.

JPX2 Gen 2 (2-shot)

• Takes a 2-shot cartridge; each trigger pull fires one shot.

• The cartridge is replaceable after use (Connor emphasized it’s essentially disposable once fired).

• Connor said range is about 20 ft; manufacturer specs cite roughly 5–23 ft depending on conditions.

4-shot option (JPX4-style)

Connor also showed a 4-shot version aimed at law enforcement markets, but they’re hoping it can be available more broadly as well.

Guardian Angel 4 (compact 2-shot)

A small two-shot, pocketable option with a simple safety and clip—intended as a quick, lightweight grab-and-go device.

Connor also mentioned optional laser sight accessories for better aiming, and that all versions are around the same practical range envelope.

If these can be brought in cleanly for Canada, they look like a good fit for a store + review pipeline: JPX2 Gen 2 for the main feature set, JPX4 for the multi-shot crowd, and Guardian Angel 4 for people who want something ultra-compact and simple.

We stopped by the SABRE booth and spoke with Ashley about their Home Defense Pepper Launcher, specifically a second-generation version that (per Ashley) isn’t released yet. With less-lethal options getting more attention in Canada, I wanted to see what’s new, what specs we’re looking at, and whether it’s something we might be able to bring in for reviews and potential store availability.

What’s new with the Gen 2 (as described in the interview)

• “Quick Pierce” magazine system: Ashley demonstrated a faster “pierce and go” style setup, hit the control and you’re ready to aim.

• Pressure indicator: After piercing, an indicator pops out; as CO2 is depleted it retracts, giving you a visual cue that pressure is running out.

• CO2 release button: A control to vent the CO2, then remove the magazine.

Core platform details (current production specs for the .68 launcher family)

These are the commonly listed specs for the current .68 caliber SABRE launcher:

• .68 caliber projectiles

• 7-projectile magazine capacity

• Fiber optic sights (front/rear adjustable)

• Stated velocity up to ~350 FPS

• Range: direct impact effectiveness noted around 60 ft (18 m), with projectiles described as breaking/dispersion capability out to 175 ft (53 m)

Ashley also noted SABRE’s projectiles have a heavier payload than some competitors (in her words) to help with “strength” and accuracy.

Magazines, CO2, and shot count (from the interview)

• CO2 goes into the magazine

• 7 projectiles per magazine

• Two magazines per CO2 (so 14 shots)

Canada angle (what matters for importing)

• Ashley noted the current model is around ~20 joules, and said a Canadian version would likely need to be lower(depending on classification/import requirements).

• SABRE’s own online store states they do not ship internationally, including Canada (so any Canada availability would likely be via distribution/import channels rather than direct-to-consumer shipment).

If we can make the Canada piece work, this looks like a strong candidate for a hands-on review, especially because it’s .68 caliber, 7-round, and built around visibility (fiber optics) and ease of use.

We didn’t catch this one at the Steambow booth, we were out at the SHOT Show indoor range checking out Steambow again, Tyler walked us through their brand-new-for-2026 B08: a magazine-fed .68 caliber ball launcher/crossbow that’s just starting to hit availability.

• New B08 .68 cal “ball launcher” platform (2026): This is a .68 caliber system designed to run .68 spherical projectiles (paint, foam/nylon, and pepper/irritant-type balls were all discussed as compatible options, depending on local rules).

• 8-shot, removable, pre-loadable magazine: The B08 uses a spring-fed 8-round magazine that inserts at the front. Tyler’s demo made it clear you can pre-load multiple mags and keep shooting quickly.

• Simple, repeatable action (easy to learn fast): The manual of arms is very “repeat-and-go”: load the mag, cock it, shoot, then cycle and repeat. Steambow describes the system as their familiar AR-Series quick-tilt/quick-clamp style for fast reloading.

• Ships mild, but can be upgraded for more power: The one I tested was using a 35 lb limb, but it’s built to accept other AR-Series limbs (stronger options sold separately). Tyler specifically said swapping to a much heavier limb can turn it into a high-velocity setup (he referenced up to a 150 lb limb and around 300 fps in his talk).

• Projectile flexibility is the whole point: If you already have .68 cal paintballs or similar at home, that’s the target “ecosystem” this is built around (so long as they’re spherical).

• Important safety + legal reality check: Steambow is very explicit that once you move beyond the “low power + soft balls” envelope, the B08 can become very dangerous, they warn that harder/heavier projectiles (including steel balls) raise risks like severe injury/lethality and ricochets, and that irritant/pepper-type rounds may be legally restricted depending on country.

Tyler’s range demo made the main selling points obvious: magazine speed, easy operation, and a huge range of .68 ball options. If we can get it lined up for Canada, it looks like a very versatile multi use platform, especially for anyone who wants .68 cal fun adn then some, without relying on CO2 or HPA.

We stopped by KWA at SHOT Show 2026 and I caught up with Jonathan to check out one of their hottest new releases for 2026: a licensed Kel-Tec Sub 2000 Replica coming in both Airsoft and BB Airgun variants, with blowback-style fun and that signature folding design.

• EMG x KWA Licensed Kel-Tec Sub 2000 (folding rifle)

  • Variants: Airsoft + Airgun/BB version (already confirmed)

  • Magazine: Uses ATT/ATP GT mags

  • Gas options: Green Gas model shown, with CO2 magazines also planned/available

  • Fire modes: Semi + full auto

  • Controls/rails: Ambidextrous charging handle, M-LOK side rail, Picatinny top + bottom

  • Capacity: ~35 rounds (with potential for slightly higher capacity on the BB version)

  • Timing: Announced at the show; expected late Q2 to early Q3 shipping window

This one looks like a perfect fit for anyone into compact, foldable PCC-style Replicas, especially if you want that “Kel-Tec vibe” with modern rails and full-auto capability.

I caught up with Mark at the Umarex booth to check out a stack of new releases for 2026, ranging from backyard BB “fun guns,” to a major upgrade for the Thompson, plus a dual-fuel hunting/pest-control PCP concept and some serious less-lethal / training options.

• Storm Line BB Rifle (dual CO2, full auto): A traditional, “tamer-looking” BB rifle that’s anything but tame.

  • Capacity: 400-round main reservoir + 25-round ready magazine

  • Action: Full auto

  • Vibe: Affordable, high-volume backyard fun, while keeping the styling less “tactical,” which could help for markets like Canada.

• Ridge Tech Lever Action (CO2): Lever actions are hot, and this one leans modern while staying simple and budget-friendly.

  • Feed system: 8-round magazine + 120-round reservoir built into the mag

  • Use case: Tin-can plinking and family backyard sessions, “CO2 Red Ryder for adults” energy.

• Thompson M1A1 Drum Magazine Upgrade: The #1 request finally landed: a drum mag for the Thompson.

  • Capacity: 400 BBs

  • How it runs: Wind as needed to keep feeding similar to Airsoft High cap magazines

  • Best part: The drum magazine is planned to be sold separately and should work with the older stick-mag Thompson versions too, so existing owners can upgrade without buying the whole gun again.

• Outpost (25 cal) “Dual Fuel” PCP Concept: One of the most interesting items in the booth, a platform aimed at practical use over pure plinking.

  • Power source: Runs on a nitrogen cartridge or as a traditional PCP-style setup out of the box

  • Caliber: .25 only

  • Design notes: Side lever, folding stock for compact carry, onboard spare-mag storage (prototype shown)

  • Positioning: Built for small game / pest work and “preparedness” minded buyers

  • Canada angle: CO2 use (if supported) could drop velocity, but in this form it sounded like it may currently be on the “too fast for Canada” side, so detuned / CO2-focused variants were discussed as a possibility.

• S68 (68 cal, CO2, ~16J): Compact launcher format with real punch for its size.

  • Power: 12g CO2

  • Magazine: 6-shot standard, extended option mentioned

  • Ballistics talk: Roughly ~360–380 fps with a ~46-grain projectile (as recalled in the interview)

  • Ammo pairing: Steel-core “core defense” style rounds were emphasized for hard impact; pepper options depend heavily on local rules.

• HDX 68 “Shotgun Style” (68 cal): A higher-capacity, higher-energy format.

  • Capacity: 16 rounds

  • Mounting: Built-in rail (no “upgrade it just to mount stuff” hassle)

We made it to the Barra Booth here at SHOT Show 2026 and once again I caught up with Jacob to check out what’s new for 2026, lots of “modern western” energy this year, plus some serious PCP development and even a very functional slingshot.

• New “cowboy” premium single-action revolver (PCP cartridge-powered): Unlike most revolvers in this category that run on CO2, this one uses refillable air cartridges (small pressure chambers) filled to ~2000 PSI. You load a pellet into the nose cone, charge multiple cartridges at once using a charging manifold (up to six at a time), then drop the loaded cartridges into the cylinder just like shells.

  • Caliber shown: .22

  • Hand pump fill estimate: roughly ~10 pumps (quick top-offs), with a tip to pump → degas → pump againfor more consistent cartridge pressure.

  • Frame/version: brass frame first, with other versions planned.

  • Positioning: premium / highest-quality cowboy-style item in their lineup; made in Italy.

  • Early price talk: roughly $400–$500 range (with cartridges), but still TBD.

• 1866 CO2 Lever Action – Tactical version (launching this year): Built off their popular CO2-powered 1866 lever action (two CO2 cartridges in the buttstock, shells load into the gun, lever cycles and ejects).

  • Updates: black stock, M-LOK fore-end, larger Picatinny section, and paracord wrap on the lever for comfort.

  • Calibers: .22 is the focus (with .177 also planned/available).

• New slingshot (with internal grip magazine): A compact, foldable slingshot that stores ammo in the grip and feeds by gravity—engineered so it releases one steel shot at a time.

  • Uses flat bands (easy to swap/upgrade for strength/velocity).

  • Sighting: built-in sight plus fiber optic references for left/right-handed use and different ranges.

• Replica-style break barrels (AK + M16 formats): Two new break-barrel rifles styled after an AK and an M16 with non-functional replica controls, but standard break-barrel operation.

  • Sights/optics: adjustable iron sights plus Picatinny rail for optics.

We visited the ASG booth with Bob (his 13th SHOT Show) to check out what’s new for 2026, with several updates aimed at Canadian buyers.

• New budget AR AEG line (April/May target): three versions planned (all-polymer, polymer receiver w/ metal rail, and all-metal). Target pricing is about $150 USD (polymer) and $210–$220 USD (all-metal). Includes battery + charger, plus two springs (one outdoor/Canada-legal and one ~330 FPS), with easy spring swaps. Some models include an ETU.

• GL06 40mm launcher: an older favorite that keeps selling, highlighted for its durable build, long barrel, and long firing pin designed for better reliability with a wider range of shells.

• Canada-focused HPA solution (in development): ASG is working on an HPA setup to help gas blowback models meet Canada’s import threshold (they referenced 367 fps) so more options can be brought into the country.

• Canada version P-10 CO2 (March/April target): updated with a higher-velocity valve aiming around ~380 fps, making it Canada import legal. Comes in black and FDE, full blowback, and includes an optics plate for red dots.

• Blaster BBs refreshed: BB lineup is consolidated into Blaster / Alpha Blaster (premium) / Beta Blaster (budget/field), with options like bio and tracer. US availability is expected early February.

I was in Las Vegas last week for SHOT Show, filming content for Replica Airguns, but I wanted to post a quick update so you know what I was up to.

I went to SHOT Show to connect with people in the industry and record a bunch of interviews with vendors and companies, Airgun and aintball brands included (and more). I ended up filming about seven interviews, and now that I’m home I’ve got a lot of great footage to go through.

I was in Vegas with my buddy Steve (the guy behind the camera). Once the filming was wrapped, we spent some time enjoying the city after a busy week. We also did a few things outside of SHOT Show, because if you’re in Vegas, you might as well experience it.

In this Field Test Shooting Video I take a look at the KJ Works KP-19S. I’ve reviewed the KP-19 in the past, so this one should perform similarly, but it’s been a while and I wanted to get this one out for a proper range session.

I’ve already done a tabletop / close-up video for the KP-19S covering the specs, features, and up-close details, so if you want the full walk-around and all the technical info, make sure you check that out first.

For today’s session, I focused strictly on performance in the same basic field-test format: velocity testing, then a 10-shot accuracy group at 30 feet, and finally some overall shooting impressions.

Velocity Testing (Chronograph)

For the chronograph test, I ran 0.25g Airsoft BBs (not 0.20g), so expect the readings to come in a bit lower than what many people quote online.

My chronograph also decided to be difficult today, throwing “Error 2” messages and not registering shots consistently, so I had to keep working at it until it finally started giving me some readings.

Once it cooperated, I got five velocity readings:

• 312 fps, 304 fps, 293 fps, 288 fps, 284 fps:

• Average of 296 fps

A couple notes to keep things fair:

• If I had started the test with zero shots fired beforehand (the way I normally try to do it to maximize “fresh CO2” performance), the first shots could be a bit higher.

• Because this was with 0.25g BBs, if you ran 0.20g BBs, you’d likely see higher numbers, potentially into the low-to-mid 300s depending on conditions.

• This model also includes an extended barrel option that can push velocity higher, but I didn’t test it that way because most people run the pistol in its standard configuration (without a long exposed barrel sticking out).

Accuracy Testing (30 Feet)

For the accuracy test, I put a paper target at 30 feet and fired 10 rounds. The nice thing here is that the pistol should lock back on the last shot, so it makes it easy to confirm you’re done without having to count.

Results were excellent for a quick out-of-the-box test:

• With the exception of one flyer, everything was within about an inch

• The group was well-centered left-to-right

• Elevation was also very good without any sight adjustments

There isn’t much you can do for sight adjustment on this one unless you add a laser or optic, but you can tweak elevation slightly via hop-up, depending on your setup.

Final Thoughts

This pistol performed really well for me today.

The KJ Works KP-19S has that 1911-style trigger feel, light, short, and responsive, paired with a snappy blowback that makes it fun to shoot. Velocity was consistent once the chronograph started behaving, and the 30-foot grouping was far better than I expected without any tuning.

Aesthetically, it’s also a great-looking gun: a tactical, modern two-tone style with a double-stack magazine look that gives it that “2011 / hi-cap tactical 1911” vibe. If that’s the style you’re after, the KP-19S is a strong choice.

It should also work with most KJ Works tactical 1911 / double-stack style magazines, so if you already own similar KJ Works pistols, you may be able to mix and match mags. You can also run green gas magazines, but velocity will generally be lower. If you do choose to run the extended / threaded barrel setup, you can hide it with a mock compensator, but it will turn the pistol into a longer, bulkier package. Personally, I prefer it in the standard configuration.

I had the chance to take the KWC 18 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol out for some shooting today to see how it performs. It’s a Glock-styled 4.5mm steel CO2 BB pistol with full blowback and selectable semi and full auto. It’s not an officially licensed Glock, but if you own (or have shot) Glocks, the controls and overall feel will be instantly familiar.

I’ve already done a close-up tabletop video for the KWC 18 covering specs and details, so if you want the up-close visuals and feature breakdown, make sure to check that out first.

For this session I concentrated solely on performance: a quick 5-shot chronograph run in semi-auto to record velocity, a 10-round semi-auto group at 30 feet, and then a full-auto mag dump to get a practical feel for controllability and “real world” accuracy—right out of the box (no tuning).

Velocity Testing (Chronograph)

For the chronograph testing, I ran five shots in semi-auto with a brand new CO2 in the magazine. The numbers came in at 293, 294, 282, 290, and 282 fps, for an average of about 288 fps. The spread was tight and the pistol felt extremely “snappy” while shooting, there’s a lot of pop in the blowback and you can feel it cycling hard.

One important note: this is a single-action-only style system, so you do need to rack the slide to cock it before it’ll fire (ask me how I know…).

Accuracy Testing (30 Feet)

For accuracy, I put a paper target out at 30 feet and fired 10 rounds in semi-auto. After a quick adjustment (the pistol was hitting very low at first), I aimed higher and got a roughly 3-inch grouping. The group was well centered left-to-right, but the pistol was still shooting noticeably low overall.

This is the kind of thing you’d simply keep in mind while shooting, and depending on the setup, you may be able to tweak elevation a little (but with steel BBs at short range, don’t expect miracles).

Full Auto (Mag Dump)

Then I loaded up and did a full-auto mag dump. As expected, it was basically spray-and-pray at 30 feet. The rate of fire is insane, and between that and the strong blowback, it was extremely difficult to keep rounds on target. I may have only landed a couple hits on paper.

Final Thoughts

All told, the KWC 18 is a really fun Glock-style blowback BB pistol if you want something that feels familiar in the hand and delivers a crisp trigger with serious recoil-like blowback. In semi-auto it’s manageable (even if it shoots low out of the box), but in full auto, at least at 30 feet, it’s more about the fun factor than practical accuracy.

Today we’re looking at the A&K M1873R (the R version). There are a few different versions of this rifle in the lineup (some more compact, some more full-length), and the manual actually shows the variations so watch the video where I point that out.

This is a Table Top Review only, so we’re focusing on specs, details, and a walk-around. I was hoping to follow this up quickly with a Shooting / Field Test Video, but my sample has an issue: it’s leaking gas when I try to fill it (I tested with propane/green gas). I’ll need to sort that out first (repair or replacement), so the field test will have to wait until that’s resolved.

Manual Notes: Different Versions

The manual shows several versions of this lever action platform. Some are more compact and some are more traditional full-length lever rifles. There’s also a version that appears to run without the longer front barrel extension setup, which, honestly, is the version I’d personally lean toward since the included mock suppressor is mostly cosmetic.

Walk Around

This is a really sharp-looking rifle, it has that classic lever gun vibe thanks to the real wood stock and brass butt plate, but then it mixes in a modern tactical look with the M-LOK hand-guard and top Picatinny rail.

A few key points when handling it:

• No sights included: there are no iron sights on this rifle, so you’ll want to add your own optic (red dot, scope, or rail-mounted irons).

• M-LOK handguard + top rail: lots of freedom to build the look you want, keep it clean, or “tactical western” it up with accessories.

• Internal mag / side loading gate: loads like a real lever gun, through the side. The external profile stays clean (no big mag hanging out).

• Enlarged lever loop: easier to run with gloves or bigger hands, and it just looks right on this style of rifle.

• Sling / carry: it includes a metal lanyard ring / sling hoop, so carrying it is easy if you want it strapped while moving around.

Mock Suppressor and Gas Fill

The included “suppressor” is mainly for looks. It does have an orange front, and it doesn’t function as a suppressor (it’s not extending the inner barrel either).

Important practical detail: you’ll need to remove the mock suppressor to access the gas fill valve, which means you’ll want to keep the included tool (or something similar like a washer/coin that fits) with you.

Issue With My Sample: Leaking Gas

My review sample is leaking at the fill area. It looks like someone may have tried to seal it (there appears to be silicone or residue), and there are a few scratches that make me suspect this unit could have been a return. I tried tightening it, but it still leaks and it may be stripped.

This is not what you should expect out of a normal new unit, but I want to mention it because it’s the reason I’m holding off on the field test until it’s fixed.

Pros

• A lever action gas Airsoft rifle is just plain fun (and there aren’t tons of these around)

• Classic look with real wood + brass butt plate, but still has modern utility with M-LOK up front

• Feels solid in the hands (doesn’t feel cheap)

• Top Picatinny rail makes optics easy (and you’ll want optics since there are no sights)

• 25-round internal magazine keeps the outside profile clean

• Enlarged lever loop is great for gloves or cold-weather play

• Lanyard ring / sling hoop makes it easy to carry

• Speed loader makes loading fast once you get the hang of it

• You can run it more compact by skipping the mock suppressor (it’s optional)

Cons

• The internal 25-round magazine is awkward to load without the speed loader, don’t lose it

• Green gas performance is temperature sensitive, which can affect consistency in colder weather

• Not a fast follow-up shooter, you must work the lever for every shot (part of the charm, but it’s a limitation)

• You’ll need to add your own sights/optic (none included)

• The included mock suppressor must be removed to fill gas, which adds a little extra handling

Final Thoughts

The A&K M1873R is a really cool “modern western” mashup, classic lever action styling with real wood and brass, but with M-LOK and a top rail so you can build it out however you want. Lever guns force you to slow down and actually enjoy the shooting experience, and that’s a big part of why they’re so popular (even outside of Airsoft).

Once I get the leak issue sorted on my sample, I definitely want to do the field test, because this is exactly the kind of unique platform that deserves to be shot and evaluated properly. On the table, it looks great, feels solid, and offers a lot of customization potential, you just have to go in knowing it’s lever-action manual cycling, it uses green gas/propane (so temperature matters), and you’ll need to add your own optic since there are no sights included.

Today we’re checking out the G&G PCC45 Pro, an AEG M-LOK Airsoft SMG / PCC-style carbine that’s modeled after the modern pistol-caliber .45 format. It’s a compact little platform with a folding stock, a clean modern look, and a setup that should be a lot of fun for tighter indoor/outdoor spaces where you want something quick-handling without going full-length rifle.

As always, this is a Table Top Review, so we’re not going to be doing any shooting or chrono work in this video. The goal here is to go over the specs, the overall build quality, materials, controls, and features, then finish off with the pros and cons so you know what you’re getting before the field test. We do carry this one in our Canada store and I’ll put a link in the description. Walk Around:

The PCC45 Pro is a great-looking compact PCC setup. It’s not overly heavy, but it also doesn’t feel like a lightweight “toy”, there’s a nice balance of polymer and metal.

Up front you’ve got the CNC aluminum M-LOK handguard, and it gives you a lot of flexibility for mounting accessories. The front sight is a flip-up style (part metal / part polymer), and the rear sight is a metal flip-up peep sight.

Sighting adjustments follow the common setup:

• Front: elevation

• Rear: windage

The muzzle comes with a black tip (not a red/orange one), and you also get 14mm CCW threads for add-ons like a tracer unit, mock suppressor, or alternate flash hider.

Controls are a strong point on this platform:

• Ambidextrous selector (safe / semi / full-auto, and programmable for 3-round burst)

• Ambidextrous charging handle that makes it easy to access the hop-up

• Ambidextrous mag release

The magazine has a realistic “.45-style” look. One handling note: if that front insert/follower isn’t seated correctly, you’ll want to be careful inserting the mag so you don’t snag or damage it.

The folding stock is simple and quick to use, with a rubber butt pad that helps it shoulder nicely.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, the G&G PCC45 Pro feels like a well thought-out PCC-style AEG that checks a lot of boxes: it’s compact, it’s easy to maneuver, the folding stock makes it convenient for transport and storage, and you get the benefit of the M-LOK handguard for mounting a light, grip, or other accessories without needing a bunch of adapters. The ambidextrous controls are a big plus, and the ETU + Gen4 MOSFET setup is exactly what you want on an AEG like this for consistent trigger response, efficiency, and the ability to run semi, full auto, or 3-round burst depending on how you program it.

That said, there are a couple practical trade-offs to keep in mind: the battery space is tight in the handguard so you’re going to be limited on what fits (and it’s worth planning that out before you buy), and the PCC45 magazines are more proprietary than standard M4 mags which can affect cost and availability if you want to stock up. The field test will tell the real story, we’ll see where it chronos in the real world, how consistent it is, and how it feels to run in full auto. But based on the tabletop handling and feature set, this looks like a solid option for anyone wanting a modern PCC-style AEG that’s different from the usual M4 layout.

This one’s really growing on me because it’s not your standard AR platform. We review a lot of AR-style rifles (and there’s nothing wrong with ARs, they’re popular for a reason), but this one has a very different vibe. It’s based on the SA80 British service rifle design and comes in a compact bullpup layout that gives you a long inner barrel without needing a long overall rifle.

Today’s Table Top Review is the G&G L85A2 (A2 version) ETU Airsoft AEG Rifle — and yes, a full Shooting / Field Test Video will be coming shortly. I definitely want to get this one out and properly test it.

Walk Around Notes:

A few highlights from handling it up close:

• Bullpup layout: compact overall, but the barrel/inner barrel length is still substantial.

• Sighting system: the carry handle doubles as the rear sight platform with flip apertures.

• Optics compatibility: you can mount an optic on the top rail, but you’ll likely want a riser so your eye line sits naturally.

• Dust cover + hop-up access: you can open the cover and access hop-up adjustments the normal AEG way.

• Charging handle note: my rifle did not come with the charging handle piece. I checked my unboxing footage and it wasn’t on there and it wasn’t in the box. It’s not essential for function, but at this price point it’s something you’ll want to confirm is included on yours.

Battery Compartment:

The battery area is under the handguard, and here’s the main downside:

• If you’re running a larger battery, you’ll likely need to remove hardware (including the sling mount and a bolt) to open the lower handguard section.

• With smaller nunchuck-style batteries, you may be able to fit them in with less disassembly, but bigger packs will probably require tools.

So yes: it works, but it’s not a quick tool-free battery swap design.

Quick Function Check:

I did a quick dry-fire demo using a 9.6V battery, and honestly it felt a bit underpowered/odd (some partial taps and inconsistent behavior). That could be the battery itself (mine was not great), but I would suggest this rifle will really come alive with a proper 11.1V LiPo and hope to use this setup in the field test video.

I’ve seen demos where the rate of fire is very high using an 11.1V setup, so that’s what I’ll be testing with for the shooting video.

Pros:

• Lots of metal in the construction with a super solid weight, feel, and balance

• Unique bullpup British-style rifle (not just another AR build)

• Simulated blowback adds a bit of feedback vs. standard AEGs

• Works with AR/M4-style AEG magazines (easy to find replacements/midcaps/highcaps)

• Good optics flexibility on the top rail (carry handle sight system included, or add your own)

• Programmable fire mode: Full Auto or 3-round burst

• No orange tip (and if you prefer one for visibility, you can always add your own)

Cons:

• Limited accessory mounting options (mostly just the top rail; not a modern “add rails everywhere” setup)

• Battery access can require tools and disassembly, especially for larger batteries

• Priced on the higher side (around $600+ CAD)

• My sample was missing the charging handle part, check yours when it arrives

Final Thoughts:

This is a really nice AEG. It feels premium in the hands, the two-tone green looks great, and it’s a cool change from the sea of AR platforms, while still keeping things practical with AR-style AEG mag compatibility.

The simulated blowback isn’t going to replace the feel of a true gas blowback rifle, but it’s a nice touch, and paired with the ETU/MOSFET system and upgraded internals, it helps justify why this model sits in a higher price bracket.

Next up: the field test / shooting video, ideally with a proper 11.1V battery so we can see what this rifle really does when it’s running at its best.

In this Table Top Review, we’re taking a detailed look at the G&G ESG B-10 2.0 Gas Airsoft Shotgun. This is a very unique Airsoft platform, as it’s fully gas powered—no spring, no AEG system, and no blowback. Just straight gas operation.

Gas-powered Airsoft shotguns are fairly rare, and this one stands out even more because it’s essentially a semi-automatic gas shotgun capable of firing five or ten BBs per trigger pull. That makes it a serious close-quarters option and something I’m genuinely excited to field test.

While the FPS may seem low, it’s important to remember that five or ten BBs are being fired simultaneously, which requires significantly more gas per shot.

The shotgun comes packaged in a large box with a sleeve that differentiates the 2.0 version from the original B-10.

Design & Layout:

The ESG B-10 2.0 uses a bullpup layout, which keeps the overall length short while still allowing for a reasonably long inner barrel. Despite its compact size, the gun feels very solid and heavy, likely due to its internal gas system and metal components.

Notable design features include:

• Picatinny rails on the top and both sides

• Ambidextrous selector switch for 5- or 10-shot bursts

• Ambidextrous magazine release

• QD sling mounts front and rear

• Non-orange flash hider

• Polymer butt plate with internal gas reservoir

Because of the low rail height relative to the grip, you’ll almost certainly want to install some form of optic or sight to get a usable sight picture.

Controls & Operation:

The selector switch serves as both the safety and burst selector, allowing you to choose between five or ten BBs per trigger pull. It’s ambidextrous and easy to reach from either side.

One thing worth noting is how the selector cycles internally. There can be a one-shot delay when switching between modes, meaning the first pull after switching may still fire the previous burst count before changing over.

The trigger is double-action only, as there’s no blowback system. While heavier than a single-action trigger, it’s not excessive—especially considering the amount of ammunition being fired with each pull.

Magazine Compatibility:

The ESG B-10 2.0 uses standard AR/M4-style Airsoft magazines, including mid-caps and high-caps. It ships with a 105-round mid-cap, but you can easily use other compatible magazines from your collection.

The magazine locks in securely but does require a firm push to seat properly.

Gas System:

The gas reservoir is housed in the stock and holds a substantial amount of gas. Based on initial handling and other reviewers feedback, you should be able to fire multiple magazines before needing to refill, despite the high BB output per shot.

In this Table Top Review, we’re taking a detailed look at the KJ Works KP-19S CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol. I’ve already reviewed the standard KP-19 in the past, and while the two pistols share a lot in common, there are some important differences between the KP-19 and the KP-19S that are worth covering.

I’m not entirely sure what the “S” officially stands for, possibly Sport—but interestingly, I’d actually argue that the non-S KP-19 is the more competition-oriented version, especially for IPSC-style Airsoft shooting. That said, the KP-19S still offers excellent performance, strong build quality, and a feature-rich design.

The KP-19S shares most of its core design with the standard KP-19:

Performance between the two should be nearly identical, and if you’ve already watched the field test for the standard KP-19, expect similar results from the S version.

Walk-Around & Handling:

The KP-19S is a large pistol with a fairly wide grip. Shooters with smaller hands may find it bulky, but balance and weight distribution are excellent. At just under two pounds, it feels solid without being overly heavy.

Notable features include:

• Slide cutouts on the top and sides

• CNC-style gold/brass-colored fluted barrel visible through the slide

• Fiber-optic sights that are extremely easy to pick up

• Ambidextrous safety

• Reversible magazine release

• Dual threaded barrel system (inner and outer threads)

Field stripping follows a classic 1911 takedown:

2. Push out the takedown pin

Once opened, you gain easy access to:

The KJ Works KP-19S is a high-quality, full-featured CO2 blowback Airsoft pistol with excellent build quality, strong recoil, and competition-inspired styling. While it lacks some of the modular competition features of the KP-19 non-s version, it offers a cleaner, streamlined look and the same reliable performance.

If you’re looking for a quality CO2 Airsoft pistol with a fantastic trigger, solid blowback, and premium construction, the KP-19S is a strong contender.

This model is part of KWC’s long-running lineup of Glock-style pistols—some licensed through Umarex and others, like this one, produced without official Glock markings but clearly inspired by the platform.

I've reviewed many Glock-style CO2 blowback pistols over the years—Gen 3, Gen 4, Gen 5, Airsoft, Steel BB, full blowback, semi-blowback—you name it. KWC manufactures a large percentage of these frames and blowback systems, often for Umarex’s officially licensed Glock models. So while this KWC 18 isn’t a licensed Glock, it’s built by the same people behind many of the Umarex-branded models.

Let’s get into the details, compare it briefly to a couple of Umarex Glock versions, and then talk pros and cons.

To give this pistol some context, here’s how it stacks up against a couple of current Umarex licensed Glock variants:

Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 (Semi-Blowback)

• Has the MOS-style removable optic plate

• Features a semi-blowback system with shorter slide travel

• More efficient gas usage, higher FPS

• Double-action-style trigger (not Glock-accurate)

Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 (Full Blowback)

• Full blowback with full travel slide

• Uses the same style of full-size dropout metal magazine

• Much closer in function to the KWC 18

• Fully licensed Glock markings

KWC 18

• Same full-blowback feel as the Gen 4

• No Glock markings (unlicensed)

• Adds full auto mode, which the Glock 17 models do not have

• Very similar weight, ergonomics, and trigger feel

• Slightly different slide shape, trigger guard, and frame cuts to avoid trademark conflict

Walk Around

The KWC 18 is extremely Glock-like in shape and ergonomics, with only small cosmetic changes:

• Slightly longer and differently shaped slide cuts

• Altered trigger guard shape

• Modified rail and frame geometry

• No Glock-branded markings anywhere

Controls are where you expect them to be:

• Slide catch/release on the left

• Trigger safety

• Takedown levers in the Glock position

• Selector switch for Semi / Full Auto just above the trigger area on the left side

• Under-barrel safety disguised as a serial number plate

Sights are classic Glock style:

• White dot front

• White “goalpost” style rear

The full-size dropout metal magazine fits tightly and locks back after the last shot. The slide feel is excellent—strong spring tension, clean metal-on-metal sound, no cheap clanking.

Field Strip

Field stripping is Glock-simple:

1. Lock slide slightly back

2. Pull both takedown tabs down

3. Slide comes forward and off

(Note: KWC pistols are often tight from factory, so the first removal may require a solid tap.)

Inside you’ll find:

• Full metal slide

• Return spring/guide

• Removable inner barrel

• Accessible hop-up wheel

• Fire control components including the semi/full auto mechanism

Reassembly is straightforward once parts are aligned correctly.

  • Expect maybe one strong magazine and a partial second depending on temperature

• CO2 cooling effects occur quickly during rapid fire

• Tight factory tolerances make the first field strip a bit stiff

• No official Glock markings (a con only if you want licensed branding)

Final Thoughts

The KWC 18 CO2 Blowback Steel BB Pistol is a very solid performer for anyone who wants a Glock-style CO2 pistol with full blowback realism—and especially for those who want the fun of full auto.

The build quality is strong, trigger feel is excellent, the slide operation is smooth, and the ergonomics match real Glock pistols closely enough to make this a legitimate training or plinking option.

If you already own Umarex Glocks, this model will fit naturally into your collection and may even share some compatible magazines (listed as AAKC MM19).
