Umarex Beretta Elite II and HK45 CO2 Airsoft Pistol Table Top Review

Type: Airsoft Pistols.
Manufacturer: UmarexUSA.
Model: Beretta Elite IIHK45.
Materials: Metal and plastic (Polymer).
Weight: 1.5 pounds (680 grams) & 1.36 pounds (620 grams).
Barrel: 4.5 inches, non-rifled.
Propulsion: 12 gram CO2.
Action: Double action only.
Ammunition Type: 6mm Plastic Airsoft BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 15 round metal stick magazine.
FPS: 380 & 400 fps claimed.

Trigger Pull: Trigger pull on both the Umarex Beretta Elite II and Umarex HK45 is double action only but they don't feel too bad, they have that traditional longer double action pull but I did not find it to be too heavy and the release point is fairly predictable for me which should allow for some good overall accuracy when I do my future Field Test Shooting Review.

Accuracy: I have done a full Felid Test Shooting Review Video for the Umarex HK 45 Metal Slide CO2 4.5mm steel BB Pistol so make sure to check that one out! In summary with the 4.5mm Steel BB version I got a bit higher fps then claimed at 420 fps with a 5 shot string using a brand new CO2 with RWS 5.1 grain zinc coated steel BB's. From 30 feet away shooting on a paper target using a semi rested posting I was able to place 10 BB's within 1.5 inches, almost close to a 1 inch grouping. The shot placement for me was just a tad to the left and a bit down but several shots hit the bulls eye so out of the box accuracy was really good on this low cost BB pistol. Since both the Umarex Beretta Elite II and Umarex HK45 Airsoft pistols share many of the same mechanical qualities, I should expect similar results even using 6mm plastics BB's, perhaps a bit wider grouping but fps should be pretty close to claimed.

Build Quality: The Umarex Beretta Elite II and Umarex HK45 are built fairly basic with few moving parts so there is not much to go wrong, the fit and finish is good and there is metal where it needs to be internally and also in the trigger, magazine and on the HK45 even the slide. Both Airsoft Pistols have decent weight even though there is a fair amount of plastic in them.

Realism: Both Umarex Airsoft pistols are accurate looking replicas of their real steel counterparts, in the case of the Umarex HK45, it is very accurate on almost every detail appearance wise, the Umarex Beretta Elite II is not an exact replica of any one specific Beretta but is based on the Beretta Elite II Brigadier. There is no working slide on either pistol and the slide catch/release and hammer are molded into the plastic. The only working parts would be the safety, magazine release and trigger.
Available in the: Replica Airguns Store

Pros:

  • Both are fairly low priced.
  • Both have drop our metal magazines
  • Both have tactical rails for adding on accessories.
  • Both are fully licensed.
  • Both have pretty decent weigh to them.
  • The HK45 has a metal slide and white dot sights front and back
  • The Elite II has white dot front sight.

Cons:

  • Both guns are double action only.
  • Both guns have none working hammers
  • Neither gun has a working slide or blowback action.
  • Both guns have red tips.
  • Non adjustable sights.

Comments:
Considering these Airsoft Pistols are rather low cost, the Umarex Beretta Elite II and Umarex HK45 have a lot going for them! They are fully Beretta and HK licensed through Umarex with a (metal slide in the HK45) and metal parts where you want and need them to be. I am expecting decent accuracy and power from both guns and even the double action triggers are very usable. Sure the both budget Airsoft pistols is a pretty basic airguns with few moving parts but then again simplicity is sometimes better in terms of reliability. If you are an Beretta or HK fan and want low cost well made and good performing Airsoft pistols then checkout these Umarex Airsoft guns.

Umarex HK MP5K PDW - CPSport - Beretta Elite II Airgun Silent Auction

My first Airgun Silent Auction! I came into some used Airguns as part of an "Airgun - Blank Gun" package and since I already had these models I did not need them for my personal collection so I'm putting them up as a Three Airgun Silent Auction package.

These three Airguns are all made by Umarex and use 12 gram CO2 cartridges, the MP5K PDW shoots 4.5mm steel BB's and has blowback operation. The Beretta Elite II loads 4.5mm steel BB's into it's all metal drop out magazine and is know for it's very good combination of high FPS and accuracy. The CPSport uses a rotary 8 round magazine that hold 8 lead pellets, it has a full size drop out magazine that holds the CO2 making it very realistic and also easy to load CO2.

In order to won these fine Umarex Preowned Airguns, you will need to send in your highest bid to mike@replicaairguns.com before August 27th midnight. At the conclusion of this Silent Auction I will notify the winner. This Airgun Silent Auction is open to both my Canada and US customers, Canadian Customers will pay an additional $17.99 for Shipping/Handling plus their local provincial sales Tax. US Customers will pay $29.99 International Canada to US Shipping & Handling but will not pay any sales tax.

Of course you can also buy these guns new in my Canada & US Replica Airguns Stores

Good luck to everyone!

UMAREX BERETTA ELITE II CO2 BB PISTOL REVIEW

Related Posts:

Type: BB air pistol.
Manufacturer: Umarex.
Model: Beretta Elite II.
Materials: Mostly plastic with some metal parts.
Weight: 1.5 pounds.
Barrel: 5.25 inches, metal non-rifled.
Propulsion: CO2 x 1.
Action: Semi auto, double action.
Ammunition Type: 4.5mm BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 19 round magazine.
FPS: 480.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on this gun is about medium, the trigger first cocks the hammer and then near the end there is a break point where the hammer releases.
Accuracy: I was a bit surprised by the poor results I achieved with this gun shooting from a standing non-rested position from about 20 feet away. I have seen other reviews with much better results, so I will blame the results on me this time and maybe I will have another go with this gun on a different day.
Build Quality: This is a mostly all plastic gun with the exception of some internal parts and the drop out metal magazine. That said it does feel solid and well built with good overall fit and finish.
Realism: The Umarex Beretta Elite II is a replica of the Beretta 92G Elite II (9 mm) and does resemble the real steal in many ways with the acceptation of the extended magazine on the actual Beretta 92G Elite II. For the most part, none of the mechanical parts are functional; like the hammer, slide release, safety, and take down leaver. These parts are all molded into the plastic, the only acceptation to this is the magazine release. Another let down as far as realism goes are the screw holes on the right hand side of the gun.
Purchased this gun in: The Replica Airgun Store.

Pros:

  • Low cost licensed replica of the Beretta 92G Elite II.
  • High 480 FPS.
  • Drop free 19 round metal magazine.
  • Picatinny rail for accessories like tactical lights and lasers.

Cons:

  • Mostly plastic construction.
  • Didn't do well for me in the accuracy department (Others have done much better).
  • Ugly screw holes on the left hand side of the gun.

Comments:
This is another low cost replica air gun from Umarex designed for the entry level buyer. It's actually a pretty well made gun in terms of durability but it does lack the details like operational parts and more metal throughout. The Beretta Elite's saving graces are its high 480 FPS, drop out metal magazine and licensed Beretta trademarks. For abut $50, you do get a good overall replica BB pistol.

Two New Airguns - Umarex PPK/S and Umarex Beretta Elite II

Related Posts:

My mailbox was full of goodies for me yesterday! I received two Air Guns: An Umarex PPK/S and an Umarex Beretta Elite II. The PPK/S is the solid black version and is an all metal CO2 blowback BB shooter. The Beretta Elite II is also a CO2 BB gun with a mostly plastic exterior but has the higher velocity of up to 480 FPS.

Both of them came in the traditional plastic shell packaging with no real accessories other than the manual.

The reason I purchased another PPK/S is because I really want to do a full review of the Umarex PPK. My nickel slide PPK/S is modified to shoot in full auto only and also has the CO2 screw modification so I didn't think it would be the best reviewing sample. I will use my new black PPK for the review but of course bring my nickel version in for comparison.

The Umarex Beretta Elite II was a bit of an afterthought, acquired after my Low Cost Gun Comparison Review. There is only so many guns you can review at one time, but the Beretta Elite II fits in perfectly with the other low cost CO2 BB guns. I will be reviewing the Beretta Elite II on its own but will most likely bring back some of the others to compare features.

I look forward to reviewing both of these BB guns in the near future!
