SHOT Show Las Vegas 2017 Teaser

Last week I was in Las Vegas to attend this years 2017 SHOT Show. As always I look forward to this event since I not only get to look at all the new Airgun related products, but I also meet with the big Airgun companies and talk face to face with many of the good folks I have been emailing back and forth with.

This first video will hopefully get you excited to watch my upcoming Interview videos I will be making for companies like: Sig Sauer ASP, Umarex, ASG, Crosman and Gletcher. I also have some additional video of the KWA booth where they had a laser sighting system set up for people to test out their Airsoft guns on a simulated targeting system.

For now here are some photos and of course checkout my Preview Teaser Video of SHOT Show 2017 in Las Vegas.

Sig Sauer P250 & P226 - Umarex PX4 Storm - Gamo P25 & MP9 Comparison

Make sure to watch my YouTube video for this Comparison Review as I go into a lot of detail about the similarities and difference with each of these CO2 Blowback Pellet Guns.

Here are some of the main Similarities when comparing the Sig Sauer P250 & P226 - Umarex PX4 Storm - Gamo P25 & MP9:

  • All of these CO2 blowback pellet guns are made for each company in Japan (I am assuming from the same factory?)
  • All of the listed Pellet Airguns shoot .177 caliber pellets (Can be Alloy or Lead)
  • They all have double sided rotary stick magazines that hold 8 rounds on each end for a total of 16 shots per magazine.
  • All of the Airguns use 12 gram CO2.
  • All compared pellet guns have Blowback operation.
  • All of these pellet pistols have single and double action triggers except for the Gamo MP9 which is single action only and needs to be charged on the first shot.
  • They all have rifled barrels.

Here is where we find some key differences between these CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistols:

The FPS Velocity for each Airgun:

The weight of Each Pellet Gun:

The Barrel Length for each Air Pistol:

The Main Build Materials for each Pellet Pistol:

Is the Ejection Port Cut Out?

Is it a Replica of a Real Steel Gun?

Yes, I have more of my personal guns for sale, now we are getting into the pistols! I am showcasing here on the Replica Airguns website and over on the Replica Airguns YouTube channel a series of videos I am making for the purpose of selling some guns out of my personal collection. I simply have to make room for the new guns I will be testing and reviewing for everyone, my collection has gotten a little bit out of hand and needs to be thinned down a bit :)

Shot Show Vegas 2014 Gamo Booth

Gamo did not have much in terms of new Replica guns this year either? Again, Gamo does seem to focus more on their hunting and target air rifles which for me is not my focus. Pretty much the same Replica guns as last year...

Gamo PT-85 vs Umarex Beretta PX4 Storm Head to Head Shootout

Installment number 2 of my Head-to-Head Airgun comparisons. In this video I compare the replica Umarex Beretta PX4 Storm CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol versus the Gamo PT-85 CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol. Both are very similar mechanically and use very similar rotary magazines combined with single action hammers and very heavy blowback.

Make sure to checkout my other posts for my Umarex Beretta PX4 Storm and also the  Gamo PT-85.

Watch the video below to see the Beretta PX4 Storm CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol go head to head against the Gamo PT-85 CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol in both a test of the feet per second performance and accuracy shooting at 30 feet using a semi rested position.
